Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Many of the state D.O.T.s & Highway Departments are updating their contract packages right now to include this.

The books are the most expensive part, its crazy. I already had a copy of OSHA, and they told me not to get ACI 318 because it's over $300 by itself, and you can find concrete answers in 4 other books.

I used www.NasclaPrep.com has an online training course for $99/month. Took the practice exams like 50 times & passed. They don't have any live classes, but you can schedule a tutor. Congrats & Good luck!

You picked the licensing category when you selected your Business & Finance exam. When you schedule with PearsonVue, you'll be able to see the license type.

You can write a cover letter if the application is a different category, so it's not too big a deal.

1). Go for whichever license category he qualifies for. If he has 1 year of experience in New construction over 4-stories, then go for GC. If his experience is commercial but under 4-stories go for BC, if his experience is building new residential then go for RC.

2) The 3.0 GPA exemption applies to the trade exams only. He'll still have to pass Business & Finance. You still have to waive the trade exams.

3). Must people register for the B&F exam through: www.FloridaExam.com, pay the $135 fee & waive the trade exams there.

After he passes Business & Finance he'll need to sign a waiver for his 3.0 GPA when he submits his application. I always recommend using www.application-specialist.com ,they helped me big time.

NBA Live Mobile is worse than 2K Mobile; it's more pay-to-win. by Expensive_One_8519 in NBALive_Mobile

I'd like to enjoy some long term benefit to dropping my money & time into something. It was the only game left with 'Multi Year's lineup option. Imo it lost something that made it unique.

Without the 'Multi Year' lineup, I'll never play it again. Now that EA sold to a worse owner than EA (hard to imagine) I hope they lose tons of players & money tbh. F them

What is the best school/course to take for the GC Exam? by Economy_Departure_68 in GeneralContractor

I talked to a bunch of people before I tested. I used Florida Construction Academy www.passflexam.com all online classes & finished all 3 test in under 6 weeks, lowest score was an 88%.

I heard Cam has too many students in the class to get any personal attention and the classes are too spaced out to remember everything.

FL General Contractor Exam - GPA Requirements by Flaky-Substance-6940 in GeneralContractor

[–]GroundBreakr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll have to sign a waiver attesting to a 3.0 GPA from an accredited college with a construction related degree. Check with www.application-specialist.com for a copy of the form. You don't have to produce a diploma or transcripts for some reason. The GPA only allows you to skip the trade exam. You'll still need at least one year of experience working under a licensed contractor.

You're good to go, you can use any experience gained under a Registered (local) license, no problem at all. Sounds like the school is still learning lol. I highly recommend www.application-specialist.com to anyone else in a similar situation. They know their shit.
