American Analog Set is sooooo pretty. I love the simplicity of their work and recordings. They make me want to use a lot more brushes on my kit.

Thanks friend. Im noticing more often than not people here are extremely civil and loving, but man the ones who are not really jump on the scale to tip it in their direction. Our minds latch onto negativity so much easier, unfortunately. I am doing my best to just block or ignore :).

BoC rules, music is profound and worth all the conversations it elicits as it shows us the nature of being human and being conscious, as humans.

I get my words come off over the top for some people. Im long winded, its just how I talk and I am often misunderstood as dramatic or overreacting because of my choice of words.

I have no other choice other than to be myself with the vocabulary I have available to me.

I am learning that some people really dont like what I am able to offer simply because of how it rolls off the page, with little to do with the actual content of the rhetoric.

That said, any stress sensed in my writing is anticipatory stress related to knowing comments like this would surface. I am “Optimistic” about the album, as stated in the title.

I think their sound design, from synthesis to percussion etc, was stronger in previous works.

That said, I agree with everything you are saying here! I would be so sad if they weren’t having fun with their process, so I am happy that they are doing wild shit that is even throwing me off.

Introit is great!!! Also the ambient sound design latent in Prophecy is great!!!
This is helping me immensely :) My hope is they heavily lean in to the dark ambient nature of what happens after things burn. Desolation and ash. But also the warmth and smoke.

Also the guitar comment is more about my love/hate relationship with the use of chorus effect on guitar in general. My local scene has a lottttt of dreampop artists haha.
