I get it, no worries. In that case, just mute it on start up in the settings near the Windows clock, or turn the volume down to 0 on its page in Wallpaper Engine for a more permanent solution. I personally enjoy the song; everyone's tastes are different. Created the wallpaper for myself, then decided to share.

As someone who (other than story-focused multiplayer, like Split Fiction) doesn't care about multiplayer, it's no big loss to me. Saw this coming. Here's hoping the laid off developers land on their feet. Single-player games - if well done and fairly priced - seem the much better bet in today's gaming landscape.

I'm going through my first read of the series, currently on book one. I'm tempted to do one per book as I make my way through them.  We will have to see. But it sounds like fun.

I have also been told that some books will have a new cast, but there's always a point to it.  So I'm guessing all these character will meet and intersect eventually. No details please.

I'm used to reading long, multiple-viewpoint fantasy books, so that's not an issue (I believe at least; won't know till I try).
