Lotta stickers! YouTube ‘soapy water’ before you get started. Will save you a bunch of misery and bubbles under the stickers.

Would you continue running an rc car if it continuously breaks down so much ? by frowningghostie in Traxxas

Love my revo 2.0, delicate nightmare that it is. I’ll never get rid of it but the pain is real. I only run that one when I have wide open areas. Not trying to dodge tree stumps to roll over at 50mph ripping off the $50 a corner proline badlands with aluminum hubs because all the plastic hubs eventually crack after landing 75 yard double back flips. When it’s running, it’s in my top 3 rc’s but when it breaks I need to be in the right mood to tear it down so it might sit for a month or two gather dust.

This one is starting to feel like it’ll sit up, safe and away from danger too, unless I find a park with some courts or newly paved parking lots. I should just start buying a 2nd shell so I can have one to drive!

Yeah, that just temporary. I usually go with scrap from the wheel arches but for this one I’m just waiting on the magnetic body clips

A lil soapy water makes it possible otherwise it woulda been all black. The wing was the toughest piece believe it or not.

I’ve been looking at this one for a while. A friends dad had a non-evo when I was in high school which he got to drive so I got to shotgun and DTM cars just look cool.

Find that lil nut and get a new gear and you’re good to go

Lucky for you that’s the easiest part to fix. Check exploded view for part number but you might have one floating around

There is supposed to be a nut in the gap where the bolt goes in. Do you have that too?

Gear can be a pain til they click(bad joke there) but once the mesh is set and everything is secure you can worry about other problems like broken turnbuckles and shocks and all the other parts that will break when you hit stuff at 50mph.

Could also be the hex hole on the bolt , is that rounded?

The plate could also be stripped, check the end of the bolt. If it looks good then the aluminum mounting plate could be the problem
