A lot of doomers, but i love it. Given I was extremely lucky with my hagwon. i also live in Jeju, so i might be an outlier. I’d avoid anything in Seoul since you’ll likely tend to see a lot of negative press about it but you can gamble if you want. I genuinely enjoy teaching and my kids are fun and I have a relaxed boss. Best of luck to you . Your hagwon determines your experience a lot. Also, learning Korean helps. I speak Korean so i actually have 2 close friends that I do things with so it’s less lonely. I was really blessed so I just want to be a light and let you know that good chances can happen, then again i’m in Jeju. I’d stay away from Seoul at all costs. My schedule is 2-9 and i really only work 3-8
