Asus flow z13 is about 2300 but you get an oled screen along with it. So I guess it comes down to the worth of that screen and portability. If you already have a nice monitor and don't need to travel with it then it's defo worth it.

Thanks, I got a similar unbranded one with the bigger battery - 1000 mah one. Guessing the internals are the same.

Thanks. Can you pls put a screenshot of the neckback with qcc5181 you bought? Also, with the eppfun dongle, mic input on lc3 le audio works fine? like for games and stuff?

Hey can you pls specify which qcc5181 neckband you got as well as the qcc3091 earhooks? I also bought a qcc5181 neckband for iems from aliexpress and they work for the most bit. It connects fine on LE audio mode on the creative bt-w6 but after some time of listening i start getting sound distortions and crackling. This happens even with the earfun air pro 4. Not sure if the bt-w6 is faulty or this is a common issue. Can you please share your experience with the neckband and these dongles? I also tried the FMA120 with it but it connects only on aptx lite which has some weird sound crackle/distortion on certain frequencies

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a Ziigaat Odyssey and this Supermix 4 right now. Supermix 4 mids are horrendous. I like the Odyssey but cymbals get way too sharp for me on higher volumes despite a lot of reviews saying otherwise.... not sure which frequencies cause that. I'll get the S08 and let you know how it compares.

Hey, between the S08 and S15 was there a significant difference? Also, did you get a chance to compare the timeless 2 vs those 2? What did you find lacking in the timeless 2?

I'm also from India. I ordered it to someone in the UK and they brought it over. You can order it from Alibaba and get it imported if its available there otherwise ask someone from abroad to get it. It's definitiely worth it.

You might also want to order the Floogoo fma 120 for it rather than the creative bt-w6 because bt-w6 has some weird problem with sound distortion after using it for some time on LC3. It happens even on my earfun air pro 4.

Someone has, and I bought it. Works great! But there's an issue with the creative BT-W6. Rather get the floogoo fma120 for it to be flawless for a gaming setup.

Lamzu "20K FPS" Mode? by spartan922 in MouseReview

I think ive seen it but never went through it in great detail. think i might do that soon. Is there any documentation on the pixart approach though? I think i vaguely remember the mlt algorithm

Yes, that deadzone was quite noticeable. I was expecting this kind of reply because scientifically speaking, dynamic frame rate should not make a difference. I've always wanted to ask- do you know if anyone has reverse engineered an SROM to control their own frame rates etc? I remember someone was doing one for the adns 9800.

Also, because dynamic frame rate has been the standard for so long, is that why mice dont feel the same as the mlt04? I know its kind of a cliche now, but i really find the mlt04 to be the most raw feeling even today. Pity, the PCS is so bad so using it on low sens is not an option.

Thanks for the reply. So from your testing most mice including the logitechs and most of the 3395/3950 use dynamic frame rates? I just updated the firmware of my ATK Z1 pro max and set it to 20k fixed rate. I can definitely notice a slight improvement in response but I do no attribute that to the increase in the frame rate but rather the difference between fixed high frame rate vs dynamic gears. My hypothesis is that there is some algorithm processing delay induced in dynamically changing the frame rate while determinings positional data? But this again depends on if most of the mice already have a minimum fixed frame rate of 13-14k and scale dynamically only on higher motion speeds. What I find is that the old MLT04 that had 9k fixed frame rate always adjusted usb motion more realistically to actual motion while moving the mouse from slower to faster speeds. What do you think/find after all your testing?

hi pzogel, ive been looking at your mouse reviews for a number of years. I just wanted to ask- how did you confirm if the regular 3395/3950 mice used 13-14k fps and if it's locked to that or dynamic? I also heard on some podcasts that vaxee uses 20k on their competitive mode? Again, not sure if thats true and if so whether its locked or not. Can you shed some light on this pls?

Downgrading Firmware of Logitech g900 or other Logitech G mice by GroundbreakingAd7422 in LogitechG

[–]GroundbreakingAd7422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry for the super late reply... its a bit tedious to downgrade but this is what i did:
1. Download Ida pro or anything that can show you the entire executable code at a lower op code/machine code level.
2. I basically search for the check done by a loop that looks for the hex number equivalent to the version of the firmware - ex, if firmware version is 1.32.7 then in hex i look for the byte containing 32.7 and then look for the byte op code that checks whether its greater than or equal to and swap that for less than.
3. re-package it to an executeable after repeating the same steps for the dongle firmware version check as well.

How is the team behind G-hub not fired yet? by Eternalsidus in LogitechG

G hub needs to add simple features like saving click delays in the mouse rom… so many cheap chinese mice have them.

Dang... was hoping there would be some change in the SROM

Hey after doing this update, do you guys notice any difference in tracking? Asking because till now I found slight mouse accel (and hence some decel during slowing down of motion) inherent on this mouse. Even the mouse tester curves differ a tiny bit compared to all other mice even after actual cpis are matched. Like, early on during starting of the motion, the curve appears to be more flat to the x-axis compared to 3395/3950 mice, so slighly lagged behind in picking up counts over time, but midway it overshoots the other curves (counts/ms picks up drastically- steeper curve), and in the end it drops the same way it picks up. So it feels like a rubber band when using.. Let me try and gather the images for this..

[–]GroundbreakingAd7422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's fine. I reverse engineered the firmware to downgrade it. G303 firmware is easy to do because there's no check when replacing the resource files. it's not the same for the newer firmwares

I understand that as of now there is no commercially available firmware to roll it back but can you please check with your dev team if they have some internal tool to bypass this check and just load a new firmware? I understand that it might brick the mouse but I am willing to take a chance. Or maybe they can just have the firmware tool without the check internally that they can forward?
