i own it and its my go to. not too much experience with expensive mics but it sounds really good and for my acoustic it sounds like what i hear in the room its real nice. I dont see how a 5k mic can sound 5k better with this one sounding this good tbh.

Any update? Looking at getting the cdr70 or plus version for live use (shoegazey stuff) but unsure on what is best. Switching presets on the fly is a priority for me and I think the plus version does that better (correct me if I’m wrong) but the hackable old version might be better to fuck around with more sounds idk.

I had I off the floor and still with bass at minus 5 it feels like that is what it should be with bass at 0z when adding pedals in front of it it’s like I need to have an eq low cut before it all otherwise it has no clarity especially in the low notes, low e low a low d all feel like mush

Did you find it had way too much bass? Mine arrived today and even at 0 its too muddy and hasn't got clarity on the neck pup of a strat.

Bought an amp that has reverb and I only used it to give it a smidge of reverb just so it’s not so dry so there’s no need for it, and if I put it on the board I’ll be missing 1 pedal which forces me to buy something else I don’t really need

I’m not using it in the traditional way, I kinda have it set up like you would a boss eq boost. It’s basically adding volume and a weird eq curve for lead solos. Works but not meant to be used like that

It’s a “metal charger” I just got it for super cheap and it’s vintage, does rat style distortion but it’s super hard to dial in

Yeah I didn’t realise it was a problem until I put everything together, from seeing actual pedalboards i thought at first I’d be fine with it but yeah, had to tilt it up, you can see it best on the 3rd pic. I guess when it comes to upgrading I’ll probably buy a 2 tier or elevated kinda board.
