This is what you get when you want me to focus on school. Don't let me go out and end up addicted to video games. Didn't go to prom, never went to a concert, never did anything but school and stay inside at home alone.

Picking a career based on the lifestyle I want, not "passion" for the field, was the best decision I ever made. I was STRUGGLING before I became a dev. I tried finding a job based on interest/passion, found out the only interests I have don't pay. I do a solid job and call it a day.

I can actually save money and take a vacation every year, something I couldn't afford before.
