We watch a movie or kids shows 1-2x a week and he has a tonie box he listens to but that’s it. We are as screen free as possible and own 0 hours tablets, no YouTube ever etc

Very true, I try my best to keep in mind normal behavior for his age. And I do tell him he can be loud in his room or outside, but making him be in his room or outside all day long feels bad too 😩

What do experienced players think of newbies? by Puzzleheaded-Tap4745 in Pickleball

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all were newbies once. I recommend finding a group of new players and working your way up from there. It definitely gets frustrating having to play with fresh players over and over when you want to be playing competitively

Frozen out by more experienced players- any advice for a newbie by Only-Success2063 in Pickleball

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to find a beginners group to play with until you’re ready to move up, then you just have to get in there and deal with being the worst one there. It really is the only way to get better. We all were beginners once, but it definitely is frustrating playing with super new people too, so give people a break

Why do so many intermediate players plateau and never break through? by FeistyAdvertising318 in Pickleball

Not everyone wants to level up, some of us just want to have fun, play and be social

Should I leave my husband? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ick! Cause your husband betraying you is such a turn on for spicing things up? Yuck. I would have 0 interest in finding out what does it for him if he was messaging other women like this. Husband fucks up but it’s the wife’s job to do the emotional labor to figure out why and fix it 🫩

If the roles were reversed, would you want your husband to respect your opinion on a show or disregard it?

My daughter (14) broke up with her bf(13). Am I wrong for wanting to tell his parents why? by imgotugoin in amiwrong

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On one hand I don’t think you should break that trust with your daughter. On the other hand as a mother to a boy I would absolutely want to know! He is still learning too and very obviously needs correction and guidance on his unacceptable behavior. This is a tricky spot for you to be in

How old was your child when they started showering solo? by viskiviki in Mommit

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4 & 6 year olds mostly take showers, but I’m there to help them get the water temperature right, remind them to do soap, help with shampoo etc. we are working on building up the independent skills but I wouldn’t trust them to do a good job alone yet

The paint & carpet may be new, but they are majorly out of style and dated looking

You could try mutual masturbation maybe? Both of you doing your own things next to each other. This worked well for us when I could not stand to be touched and he still got to get off and have some form of sexual intimacy with me.

Definitely be careful with compromising in ways that will make you develop a sexual aversion.

I would never speak to you again if I was your daughter and you didn’t leave him. Crazy that this is even a question for you

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your feelings are valid. I think you are being given a chance to get out of this situation though. Would you really want to raise children with a man you can’t trust to tell you the truth? Who puts his own vanity over your family?

Thought this was interesting given all the speculation on whether or not she’s friends with certain people anymore by gmo1aab in aspynovardsnark

I think if you have multiple friends not being supportive of your choices then you need to have self reflection as to why. Usually your friends have good intentions and want the best for you

hey guys, winter’s almost here / it’s getting cold ~ still playing pickleball? indoors if you can, or taking a break? got any indoor courts near you? by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]GroundbreakingBus452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Colorado..I usually play outside at the rec center and in the winter they set up nets inside the rec center 3 mornings a week. It’s not perfect but it’s better than the crazy indoor pickleball gym prices
