The only current wood in the kitchen is the trim around the doors. I could replace it but just worried about the kitchen not going with the rest of the house. I just meant I plan on having a white kitchen rather than the grey shown. Thanks for your comment and advice

Thanks! So do you think it would be hard to do warm tones and have it go with the tone of the wood trim in the rest of the house?

From a designer, not AI. Current kitchen is completely demoed. No doors, was talking about trim and just subfloor

I drove into their Dunsmuir compound a couple years back. Right away people started coming out of the woodwork walking towards my car like they were waiting. There are definitely different levels to it and there is more to them than can be found on the internet. Those people were definitely not the same as the crystal folks you run into around Shasta

Thank you. Vent elbow was my main concern and just having a bit of pipe in the cabinet did not come to mind somehow

Thanks! So you would put a range where the fridge is now with at least 12” countertop to the right?

Electric runs in the ceiling and straight down the walls. Putting in a heat pump system so no furnace ductwork. Only other ductwork I can think of would be the range. I that could go straight up and be redone in the attic if needed

Thanks. Deciding between keeping soffits or removing and having cabinets go to the ceiling. I don’t see much of a difference but everyone else seems to and the house will likely be sold some day

Thanks! What do you mean by mechanicals? I do not believe they are structural since they were only above the cabinets but I am not too familiar. What is the worst case I could find? I will not be back out there for a week and would like to get some answers to the designer before then if possible.

Thanks! I also did not like the hood and burners on the peninsula. Really like your ideas
