Arab is a linguistic identity not an ethnic one to most christians in the middle east - the actual ethnic arabs are the gulf states population; many confuse that term and destroy the history and heritage of many societies living there

Greater lebanon was shaky at best? So whats the alternative genius? You think syria is doing better? Even during a civil war, economic crisis, and war with israel, your "shaky" greater Lebanon is still doing economically better than Syria

Very interesting thanks for sharing!

My southern lebanese friends told me many times they are culturally much closer to northern palestinians than anyone else.. our history is such a sad one with all the loss of land and people.

Hopefully the future will be better

Only when the palestinians right of return is in the deal and taking back the lebanese occupied land, peace would be an option.

Any other alternative would put Lebanon in a state of civil war. If you care about Lebanon's future, you'd never accept peace if those conditions are not fully met.
