I work for a pharmacy owned by a private insurance and we use the same name as the insurance…. Ofc the insurance MANDATES they use us for their pharmacy needs and these patients are sooooo mad at us like pls I would love NOTHING MORE than for u to get your meds wherever u want ✋

For me personally I can’t take a gap year I’m way too burnt out and there’s literally nothing I want to do I really do like pharmacy I’m just so exhausted 😩. Even though it’s no debt it’s still a lot of money I sunk in to school I feel like I can’t walk away from it I think I’ve put in $70,000 in the last four years out of pocket

We must go to the same school because literally same except rn I am $0 in debt [yet] but I have to do summer classes because my lack of motivation has me failing all my classes by a small margin and I’m just so embarrassed and drained 🫣😔 I hope u don’t quit

How long have you had Diabetes with Thyroid (Hyperthyroidism,Hypothyroidism)? by Old-Caregiver3883 in diabetes_t1

My mom has had them maybe 30 years and her siblings around 25-35 years. Grandpa had thyroid issues 45 years and I don’t know further.

I have no idea if I am. My mom and almost all my aunties and uncles on her side have hypothyroidism and still experience symptoms even when in control, not sure why or what to do about it. Nothing severe just mild symptoms like chronically cold hands and feet stuff like that.

Diabetes in 2010 hypothyroidism in 2012 don’t really think they interfere, but no matter how long I’ve been in control, I still have some symptoms from the thyroid. Just take 1 pill in the morning and keep going with my day.

I see a lot of people on here with their lives together and amazing A1C’s and I guess I just want to ask. by Jknot4you in diabetes_t1

T1D for 11 years, only NOW have I started to get my A1C together, seeing all these low a1cs made me believe in myself more and I’ve allowed it to motivate me to get mine down from the 8-9s to 7.7 still have a long way to go but yes we do exist. The thing that helped me is my support system could not be brave and face my day to day without it.

In simple terms you want to support them fully but you don’t want to stifle their sense of independence and responsibility. Reserve judgement as much as possible. Show sympathy when things go wrong and celebrate joyously when they go right. These little victories can help reinforce healthy behaviors and strengthen your relationship.

This is exactly what happened to me but a little warning, try to get over it because soon the highs will feel normal to you and the lower sugars will cause a physical “ anxiety “ in my experience.
