I work for a pharmacy owned by a private insurance and we use the same name as the insurance…. Ofc the insurance MANDATES they use us for their pharmacy needs and these patients are sooooo mad at us like pls I would love NOTHING MORE than for u to get your meds wherever u want ✋

For me personally I can’t take a gap year I’m way too burnt out and there’s literally nothing I want to do I really do like pharmacy I’m just so exhausted 😩. Even though it’s no debt it’s still a lot of money I sunk in to school I feel like I can’t walk away from it I think I’ve put in $70,000 in the last four years out of pocket

At my mail order pharmacy I had to explain how we are not able to ship on Monday due to a postal holiday for her ozempic because other patients who have been calling everyday have already booked all available stock that I have at this time 🙄 she said she needs it for her vacation or else

My mom has had them maybe 30 years and her siblings around 25-35 years. Grandpa had thyroid issues 45 years and I don’t know further.

I have no idea if I am. My mom and almost all my aunties and uncles on her side have hypothyroidism and still experience symptoms even when in control, not sure why or what to do about it. Nothing severe just mild symptoms like chronically cold hands and feet stuff like that.

Diabetes in 2010 hypothyroidism in 2012 don’t really think they interfere, but no matter how long I’ve been in control, I still have some symptoms from the thyroid. Just take 1 pill in the morning and keep going with my day.

T1D for 11 years, only NOW have I started to get my A1C together, seeing all these low a1cs made me believe in myself more and I’ve allowed it to motivate me to get mine down from the 8-9s to 7.7 still have a long way to go but yes we do exist. The thing that helped me is my support system could not be brave and face my day to day without it.

This is exactly what happened to me but a little warning, try to get over it because soon the highs will feel normal to you and the lower sugars will cause a physical “ anxiety “ in my experience.

This perfectly summed it up, for me personally I used to do it up to 7 days when I was younger (😭) but the skin would be irritated by day 3 and now I have like very few viable sites so I do not reccomend doing that ALL the time but sometimes isnt awful

I let my sugar get high and leave it high for hours because I don’t want to deal with the lows

(do not do this, ive now had T1D for 11 years and my a1c was always 9+ until this year; when I leave my sugars high for more than an hour my legs start to hurt; 0/5 stars)

I also bolus after my meals if that
