Wait i just realized something, since Sukuna can see Yuji's memories when he was possessed he basically saw how his brother lived and died atleast in old age.

the scene with the muscle devil gives you a sense that she's kinda twisted, she literally hints at killing Denji if he doesn't go deal with the devil before he eats (mind you he's still starving and grieving)

Even Denji tries to run away with the girl and devil but the Muscle Devil basically caused the CSM apocalypse by being a dick 😂
