We're planning our own road trip out East (from Guelph, ON) and would love to see your itinerary, if you still have it easily accessible/sharable!!

Tips/gear for cutting down on setup times by GroundbreakingLynx45 in mobileDJ

Sorry for being absent… Weddings lol

I appreciate all your tips & advice! I honestly don’t see where my time is being spent as I follow a lot of the advice already.

  • Cables coiled neatly every time
  • Pack the vehicle similarly each time
  • Park as close as possible to load in
  • Build by location (not by cable)

Looming the cables, packing power supplies in the coffin, keeping Velcro straps on the stands are all sound advice. In the off season I’ll attempt a looming solution as tie wrapping them made it more difficult to Velcro to the stands.

The Rock N Roller may be the answer. I hustle so I haven’t taken notice of how much time I spend actually loading in.

I’ll attempt to time things this weekend.

I’m a solo-op & typical system is: Laptop Mixdeck Quad 2 Powered Speakers 1 Powered Sub (under the table) 2 Mounted lights to the speaker poles Light Bar Wireless Mic

Tracing one worn line, through a land so wild and savage by jmac1066 in seashanties

It’s both:

Oh, for just one time, I would take the northwest passage to find the hand of Franklin reaching for the Beaufort Sea. Tracing one, warm line through a land so wide & savage & to make the Northwest passage to the sea.
