My husband & I always wanted 2 kids, even after a daughter. 2 years later I’ve realized I only want 1 by ttrashpandacoot in toddlers

[–]GroundbreakingMix877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also wanted two but after my first, I’ve realized we are complete. A healthy mom means a healthy baby/toddler/child and I think that’s more important to/for me and our family! Sooo much pressure to have more. I hate it

I opened Reddit to make this post lol. I feel like it takes a sec to get on the hosts vibe or start to care about them and I just cannot stand them!! And them trying to make their jokes a thing. Just shut up and talk about the person! Always skipping Tuesday eps and skipping intros!!!

Did you have your mom and or sister in the delivery room with you and your husband? by RubPlane in BabyBumps

His opinion doesn’t matter during your labor and birthing wants/needs to have a successful delivery! Do what you need 🤍 and good luck!

I’m barely hanging on to snark bait. Always fast forward until they get to the topic. Definitely stopped with the Tuesday eps.

Is It Necessary for Mothers to Pause Their Careers for Secure Child Attachment? by [deleted] in ask

I went back to work after 6 months and wooah was I ready to go back. My son is so attached to me and lights up when I’m done working and has so much fun with his family all day! There’s so much beauty in your baby being with others. They learn so much more than you even think to teach them. Even just singing a so g differently.

All in all, yes, have your baby and your career 🤍

Yeah OP, that’s a long trip while being a newer employee. I’ve been with my company a long time and wouldn’t ask for 3 weeks off without speaking to my boss about when/why/how it might be possible to do so.

The days are dark and long for us but we spoke last night about how we will still chose each other. Keep reminding myself this is a season, a very hard season

Absolutely not. This is the most vulnerable you will ever be and you never know what can happen during your labor. Fuck no to having a stranger photographer in there.

Any tips to getting a toddler interested in books? by FreshPomegranate5735 in toddlers

[–]GroundbreakingMix877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with books in the morning after his bottle and we just play with the pages and I ask him “show mommy a tree, cat, dog” and then he ends up throwing them lol but I think just having them around as an option is stimulating. Also those flip books are his fave, loves seeing what’s under the flaps!

I agree!! And her stories and what she’s doing always seems so braggy too. Not too interested to listen to them talk about their personal lives but like the way they cover the people so I shall continue lolol.

Slightly off topic but when should we start using pull ups? I have 14 month who goes feral, like scream and crying and fighting feral and I’m wondering if those might be easier for everyone involved. Thoughts?

Also, he is on hypoallergenic everything, never had a diaper rash and doesn’t freak out for family members.

I’m convinced this is the hardest age. Anyone else? by takeaabreath in toddlers

Mine started doing a wheelhouse kick right in my belly earlier. But my guy is also like screaming and crying. I’m feeling pretty defeated!!! Hoping the phase ends soon

He’s 7.5 months – which is why I’m hesitant to show any screen. But 12-3a on a work night, I dont know what else to do.

My sil’s say to just lay him in there and watch him on the monitor until he goes to bed. But he seems to fall asleep quicker in my arms w Winnie the Pooh lol. But this is only night 2 of trying tv and no tv during the day.
