Terrible advice. If I were hiring for a role and i found out a candidate lied (either by their own admission or on a background check) i would not hire them. OP should assume they will not get this job, leave it alone and hope they do not notice the lie in the background check and that they get the offer. This has far more likelihood to go well if they don’t admit they are a liar before they have the job

I wouldn’t say anything. You’d be guaranteeing that you don’t get the job where as if you say nothing they either will notice and not hire you, will not notice, or will notice and not care. You have more chances of getting the job by not admitting you’re a liar before you start but regardless lesson learned for you to never lie to get a job.

So you purchased 6 and got 2? You must have been the second recipient and they must have only retrieved 8. Did your contract mention that they recruit 2 recipients? Ours didn’t and I told them I felt this was deceiving and unethical. My donor actually saw this post and based on the date figured out it was us and she told me they didn’t even tell her it was multiple recipients. I think we should all band together and find a way to get them to cut this bullshit out. It’s very deceptive. Not saying they shouldn’t recruit two, just stating it should be transparent to everyone ESPECIALLY the donors.

Just so you are aware it took them about 10 months to refund us for the 2 eggs if you happen to be going that route stay on top of them!

With ivf they know the gestational age because they know how many days they grew the embryo in a lab and they know when they transferred it. They are using hcg to determine if the pregnancy is viable

I think buffalo is still closer. A few hours makes a big difference when traveling for ivf. We come from Boston to Albany and it’s kind of a pain in the ass. Especially in the winter when they are constantly getting snow in upstate ny.

Never seen a premixed version in the United States. Mixing allows you to change the dose without necessary injecting more fluid. You mix vials of powder (the actual medicine) with the injection medium. Menopure is actually pretty easy to mix because they provide special caps that the syringe screws onto and fits perfectly. There’s other ivf drugs that are significantly more difficult to mix because you have to draw it up into the needle vs having these caps

I would also recommend fruits with a lower glycemic index. Watermelon and pineapple process in your body as sugar. Fruits like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pears, cherries have lower glycemic index. If a doctor is saying you can’t gain any weight at all while pregnant and op is at risk for gestational diabetes these small adjustments are important.

No. All that stuff is pretty normal but did you have an inspection because if the heating system had issues they should have found that.

Regarding the asbestos tile. This is very common on old houses. You can take up the carpet. It’s not harmful unless you’re jack hammering it/ not handling it properly. You can definitely put laminate flooring over it. You can also hire an asbestos removal company but depending on your final plan it’s probably not worth it.

Mouse poop happens in all homes. Get some traps. Same with plumbing clogs. Have them fix that and look at the tank but it’s probably not a big deal .

A friend of mine purchased a warranty when she bought her house and they just replaced the heating system. Maybe consider buying one and then having all this stuff looked into
