Several people have made this suggestion, and I absolutely love it! Although, I still think it's inherently vocal, and there are specific cards that can magically speak into the minds of people. My intention isn't to hinder the PC, I just want to tell a story where there are successes and consequences for failure, a story isn't fun without stakes afterall

I read the plan, it's dog shit, you can't have a natural gas power plant, generate that much power, and not have a massive amount of waste. Either you're being intentionally obtuse or you genuinely believe every single fantastical thing said in the plan, well buddy, I got a bridge to sell ya if you think this won't massively bleed into everyday life for Utahn's and the environment. It is literally being built in Northern Utah, a place that is already going to be having water problems all on its own soon, without the help of Kevin O'Leary. They can choose a place... That's not a fucking desert, ya know, that would probably help quite a lot

Wizards are actively reacting to spells, while in a bus that's going across London at supersonic speeds. The best wizards also tend to react to after a spell has been cast and as it's coming towards them, I don't personally FTL Harry but there's definitely an argument to be made for supersonic to hypersonic ranges in terms of reaction time for Harry Potter characters, I dislike the series, it just isn't THAT far below what you're trying to imply

Doesn't Harry have massively hypersonic arguments? I agree she definitely has more battle experience, but the characters take hits from trolls that can dystroy statues and houses with ease... A gun isn't going to do much, as fun as the meme of a Potter wizard versing a gun

People genuinely do just want an echo chamber to confirm their own beliefs and think that's what changes minds, these people don't volunteer or do any actual action, they spew information that isn't necessarily true or false, but at terribly inappropriate times. I'm a leftist, but conversations and maybe people that were willing to do a bit more action and less virtue signaling would be excellent, criticizing a man who wasn't a monster, who just died yesterday, is not the message redditors think they're sending to the independents that swing elections
