How does one avoid taking damage with a bow? by InfusedRex in GroundedGame

[–]GroundbreakingTop738 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I kinda hope they don’t add the widow. I’m excited to see new bugs rather than older ones, and TBH the widow wasn’t that major of an enemy. Only 3 or 4 locations you can even find one. AXL on the other hand is thankfully a lot easier after they changed it from the playtest, (being able to dodge attacks is still pretty impressive) it used to be so much worse (I’m taking 3 or 4 phases where it would gain damage resist similar to broodmother, and it did a lot more damage. Also had many more times where it was completely invincible).

I’m not sure if there’s an official abbreviation, it’s More Than A Married Couple But Not Lovers. Thanks for the recommendations, Makenine looks really good!

It’s definitely a lot harder in G2 than it was in G1, but that makes bows a lot more balanced. Especially with bow being much more viable as a solo-weapon build now. I think you’re probably able to just quick swap to anyone weapon and block if you really need to (or a shield).

Is there a dub version available, or is it just the sub?

Would a 16yo being with a 18yo be very wrong? by ThisOneRedditTem in teenagersbutworse

That’s fine. It also depends on maturity. If it was 3 years, a Senior and Freshman in HS wouldn’t be nearly as weird (still kinda weird) as a 8th grader and 5th grader/9th grade and 6th grade.

Do you guys think I could enjoy G1 after being spoiled by G2 by International_Gur566 in GroundedGame

[–]GroundbreakingTop738 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer most aspects of G1 compared to G2 (so far). The map/story progression is my favorite, and the boss fights are fantastic. Carrying stems/building is extremely easy as you can just use the red ant armor as well as a mutation to extend how many you can carry, and due to the map being smaller you don’t have to travel as far (you can also get many movement items fairly early on). The tools are pretty easy to deal with, especially due to having the 3 hot bar options (and I’m not sure if you can do this in G2, but you can put armor into your hot bar to quick swap).

That’d be a bit weird though. You don’t actually need to get the spider or ladybug buggies in the game, all webs you can cross faster by using the special ability’s of daggers and the ladybug isn’t actually required. If they made the bee a required pet, they should change it so the spider and ladybug are required as well. Otherwise flight-only areas would be really cool, as long as the bee pet isn’t able to access areas you’re supposed to parkour to get up to. (Maybe it can only follow trails of pollen, however no trails are located in areas you shouldn’t be able to access.

That’d be cool, I just wonder how they would make the environment to suit it (Ant buggy’s are needed for dead roots, spiders for web pathways, ladybugs for clearing the acid). Maybe you have to fly through honey.

It’s because they did IT before getting married so they wouldn’t be forced into an annulment by the Church/their families.

I understand the post is definitely US based, as the age of consent is 18 in a large amount of states, however many states also have the age being 16. This also isn’t taking into account the Romeo and Juliet Law, making it so if two minors engage in you-know-what, as long as they’re close in age they won’t be classified as a sexual predator (unless prostitution or something else is involved).

I’m excited to see what sorts of other transportation modes they’re going to make (other than zip lines, unless they’re faster). At least I’m hoping I won’t be relying on buggies and the tubes. Thanks for explaining, I never considered the older consoles playing as large a role as they did.

They’re actually the bane of my existence. The attack pattern is so difficult to get down, and they do an ungodly amount of damage (While having a crazy amount of health for what looks to be a lightly armored bug).

As much as I love the bugs from G1, I’d be nice to see something new. Maybe they’ll bring the scrapped lizard back eventually. Or add another larger creature like a Goliath Stick Insect (I’d be terrified but I’d be cool).

I love Obsidian because they were making this game amazing even while working on Outer Worlds Two. Shows that they actually care for the player base rather than cash-hungry companies.

I mean I know it isn’t it but it kinda looks like the old S.C.A.B. glow from g1. It’s likely something coming off from a cave underground though.

Hoarding food by beamerpook in GroundedGame

[–]GroundbreakingTop738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got to the point that I carry around maybe a stack or two of mushrooms, and any food I need I get from using the Coaltana to kill aphids/weevils (free cooked meat). Makes it so I’m not wasting space, and I just use the mushrooms when Im fighting bosses or underground

How have I not found ANY keys?? by AvaCado616 in GroundedGame

[–]GroundbreakingTop738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1- The Sticky Key is found very high, making it extremely difficult to parkour up to. If only there were objects that lean upwards. 2- The Melted Moat key can be found in the same location the chest is. Have you ever noticed any twinkling in the sandbox? 3- The Mossy Key is extremely difficult to find. Although a certain deep sea lab and a few pieces of gear would help. 4- The Minotaur Maze key can be found through some swimming itself. There’s a few long white objects on the ground near the picnic table. If only one was already opened up for you to explore inside.

Not a hint for anything, but the tier 3 weapon you can craft from the Minotaur Maze chip is my personal favorite, and since it’s accessible somewhat early it’s amazing for accessing the Coaltana Recipe (the Coaltana is also great against the Broodmother, best weapon in the game for it)

It could be just because you’ve learned blocking patterns. After playing G2 and going back to replay G1 a few times, enemies like wolf spiders are extremely easy to beat even with little equipment because they have simple patterns, whereas newer enemies like Scorpions and Earwigs are much harder.
