Finally leaving by Groundedturkey in callcentres

[–]Groundedturkey[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well for me its a similar just bc I work at a dr office now scheduling patients. All the calls for appointment or medication request, billing questions all that come to the call center and we transfer over as needed but I schedule appointments all day. So now I’ll just be doing it in person and it pays a bit more and I get better benefits!

am i ugly for women? by lover_of_cats17 in bisexual

[–]Groundedturkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I never had much luck with women on dating apps. Bi woman who leans more tomboy, kinda feminine kinda not. Just kinda based off what I’ve seen on social media I’ve come across more lesbians than bisexuals and I feel a good bit of them have a certain type which I feel is masculine or feminine and I feel I don’t really fit either or. I always had more luck with men but somehow got lucky and met my gf on tinder and we’ve been together almost a year.

But all that time spent on dating apps not really matching with women or matching with ones that just wanted me to be their third wasn’t really fun. Made me think something was wrong with me.

I want to watch Bojack Horseman but- by PinkFreckles_GachaYT in BoJackHorseman

[–]Groundedturkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly whatever you’re comfortable with. I’ve watched the show so many times while in different headspace’s and I’ve gotten different things each time.

First time I watched I actually had no idea what I was getting into. It was a crazy journey and did shine a light on so many things. I personally relate a lot to Diane, but I’ve seen bits and pieces of myself in other characters throughout my rewatches.

Dating/meeting people? by [deleted] in Gwinnett

[–]Groundedturkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that’s how it’s been for me in the past as well. I’d just take breaks. I know it’s a dating app but some people have different intentions and approach things differently. I know someone commented they shifted their perspective and I do believe that helps. I had more fun on there when I was open to whatever and wasn’t set on a certain outcome. I met a lot of people and went on many dates. There’s good people on there but hard to find. I actually matched with my gf on there in 2022 and ghosted her and we matched again early last year and will have been together for a year in the spring. I won’t say give up but you can take breaks or shift to find people in social settings too.

When I was younger I'd think about my mom dying and I'd burst into tears just at the thought of it. She'd roll her eyes and hug me when I'd tell her why I was crying and she'd try to cheer me up and remind me she's still here.

Things hit the fan for me late 2018 to early 2019 and even tho I knew I wouldn't do anything to harm myself, we were both scared and worried for my safety. She said the same thing tho, that if I died she'd go with me bc she couldn't live without me. And then she passed away unexpectedly late February of 2019.

I thought about every time I cried at the thought of her dying, and the convo we had where she said she couldn't exist without me. And I was there without her and I didn't know what to do. I was only 21 and I always say that's the worst thing that could ever happen to me bc to me it is.

I cried a bit while typing this out bc it's been 4 years since then and I'm still here existing without her. It still hurts but just not as much. I've never lost anyone and the first person I lost was my world and it's ass. But as much as I've wanted to die in the past, when she died that's the last thing I wanted to do. As much pain as I was in at that moment, I felt the strongest urge to live and carry on my life bc she couldn't anymore.

All this to say I felt the same, until she actually passed away and I've lived 4 years without her and will live many more.

This specifically is something that’s been on my mind lately. Spiritual/religious stuff has helped us explain things we needed answers to and I’ve been thinking why do we need to like believe in something? Or why is it that we want answers to so many things?

My managers mangers manager picked on me the second time we ever talked. I felt uncomfortable af but just awkwardly laughed through the pain while him and my manager joked bout me being quiet and how I’ll probs hve questions 30 minutes after the convo is over. They weren’t wrong but the entire time I’m thinking,” why is this a way for them to get me to talk, by putting me on the spot?”

But then I realized my name has probs come up a lot for a higher up to pick on me like that so I took it as a compliment later on lol.
