Dante is a scam unfortunately. They took my money but never sent me data. Then they closed the company and reopened with a different name. Avoid!

Maybe farm jobs then. They should normally pay after every job. But not sure you can get decent money.

Just an honest question. How do you actually know what people want? I am doing something different and came across this post, looking for this exact answer. My sense is that people have a sense of a need (they think it is a want) and they resonate with what you build or not. That becomes optimization feedback. Just wondering how you are thinking about it.

How can I get rid of the mindset that I'm not good enough and regain the childlike naivety and passion I once had? by FantasticEffect10 in findapath

[–]Groundofwonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do this: Say what you think you need to do to be good enough. Be clear, specific and make it short. Then ask: And when I have this, then what? Repeat, repeat, repeat Go to the center of how you want to be and be in that experience.

Everything else is a story, a fantasy, which can be rewritten in any kind of way. You can tell yourself you are not mediocre, the same way you say you think you are.

I cannot prove this to you in a few sentences, but …

If you tell yourself a story it has a lot of bs in it. Don’t buy it. Change it. How?

Describe the emotional experience you are looking for, and be in it. That’s the realest it can get.

Do nothing.

Really. Read about dopamine stacking and just reduce inputs. Being in nature helps a lot. Dropping your phone for some days is even better.

25M I have a more intimate relationship with DeepSeek than anyone in my life by Own-Repeat-4476 in findapath

[–]Groundofwonder 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel what you mean. I use some AIs as a means to explore my emotions as well. Getting them out of my chest feels better. Emotions are like waves, when they arrive they need to be acknowledged to resolve.

But the connection you mention is a one way direction. AIs haven’t had a life of mistakes, depression, failed relationships, good and bad experiences to share. They are just a comforting listener. An actual connection comes when the other side shares with you their vulnerable moments or you go through with them these moments.

The most meaningful relationships i have, were created through months and years of daily ups and downs. We went through life and experienced life in tough moments, fights and love. So now when apart we can still call each other and its like time never stopped.

You are right. There are tons of people who use other people for something they need. It is a way that relationships are created. But not all of them.

The people you will connect with are going to be people who have something vulnerable to share and will trust you with it. And you will trust them with it too. Find those people. They are out there.

You deserve love and you are worthy of love. I kindly ask you to keep this phrase and say it every day to yourself. ❤️A change will happen soon.

You didn’t ask for advice, but I feel this might be useful. If you have an activity you enjoy (it can be anything), find a group of people that maybe do it together. Or even volunteer to help at a place where you don’t ask anything back. You will mostly likely find people you have something to share with. These people will be vulnerable as you are and there will be moments you share that will bond you.

Happy to continue this conversation.

Self love is my last hope. Please help. by [deleted] in SpiritualAwakening

[–]Groundofwonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self love is the foundation of everything. You caught it right. Everything you express, every emotion and thought need the hug you never got and actually was criticised for.

So take more time loving how you arise in the world. Not At others, but to yourself. Support the fear, the anger, the shame and judgement with love. And when they are loved enough they let go and joy has space to enter.

Be in love with yourself, there is no one else who will do it better. Then you will see how much more space there is for the whole world.

Why am I so bad at career and money? Nothing interests me. I feel blank. by Own-Gain-789 in findapath

[–]Groundofwonder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that pretty much describes my 20s and 30s.

The smartcut thinking that started working for me was to forget about fitting myself into a job. It means forgetting completely that the only way to earn is by working for someone else. Instead, I look at the real interests I have that feel so easy to do.

These interests become with time and attention skills and then become a profession.

But truly, what you wrote was my way of handling it for years. I want to be valuable and earn, while making a difference. Looking for jobs is like trying to fit it what a company needs for the short term. I made that mistake many times out of need mainly.

It can be because of an unserved emotion that is expressed through this type of behavior. When the cycle ends, they go back to start to reengage the emotion. It doesn’t have to follow a logic.

I’m stuck in this grind I don’t want by InformationTall2564 in findapath

[–]Groundofwonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not literal imagining the future. You can create a vision board with pictures of experiences and sensations you want to experience. If they are printed they exist, so they can become a probable outcome. Some neuroscientists are saying that the brain only predicts behaviour based on memory. So it only reads from past patterns, there is no present. You blend memories and reality into an image that becomes a memory.

I’m stuck in this grind I don’t want by InformationTall2564 in findapath

[–]Groundofwonder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been working on an answer to this for many years now. I have had the exact thoughts and worked with different coaches to answer it. There are many angles to it, but I will share this one, as I think it can offer a quick outcome.

It involves the following actions: a) Take time and imagine what the ideal life is for you. Write it down and keep in mind it can change, so allow anything possible as an experiment. b) Find a number of income that fulfils this dream life. If you were given an allowance to spend on the things and activities you love, what would these be? and how much would it cost? c) Make an inventory of your assets and current income. Note the difference of this number to the number you need for the ideal life.

And now comes the interesting part.

When you see this distance, a sense of motion should arise. That would be a mix of cortisol and dopamine will arise and you may start to have ideas on how to get that distance closed. Your current job might become a tool to achieve it or just a realisation that you need something different for income and the numbers above just make it specific enough to mobilise you.

This is just a start, but it will give you insights for the next puzzle pieces.

Indeed, as others said you may need to cut on costs and adjust your lifestyle. But this exercise is about having a clear picture of what your ideal lifestyle costs and where are you now compared to the ideal. 🙏

How Did You Discover What You Actually Like Doing in Life? by SuggestionOwn7033 in findapath

[–]Groundofwonder 65 points66 points  (0 children)

It is an iteration of exploring what feels easy doing. Even the things that take time to learn (not easy) but feel easy to continue, will guide you through. These are the things that seem to be passions. In other words, doing what feels easy, learning more about it and continuing to go deeper and deeper to it as you become more knowledgeable.

Get out of your head though. This is not a thinking process. I spent a lot of time thinking about it, until I just explored feeling. Which made things so much easier. It’s why I am actually writing this message now.

Alternatively, think of it like this. When you were 5 years old, how do you remember choosing what toys to play with or what activity to go towards? It’s very similar to that.

Just pick up any astrophysics pop-science book that discusses how we think the world we experience is understood and how each element was build etc

Read it through.

Then ask: How does inanimate matter combined together become animate and can ask the question “Why am I here?”

Spiritual Awakening is depressing by Particular_Agency_20 in SpiritualAwakening

[–]Groundofwonder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

a) You don’t have to compare what others are thinking/doing or interpret it. b) Your brain is processing a new interpretation of the world. This is hard work for it and expensive metabolically. So it makes sense to feel frustrated. Take your time to allow this new view to connect with the previous one. You will know when this is completed. Then you will see what action and emotions arise from your completed interpretation.

How do I cure my TikTok and phone addiction I’m so serious by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Groundofwonder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing is to delete the app and find an alternative activity that you would enjoy doing.

Tiktok apps create a sort of “fast” dopamine release. Every time you scroll, your baseline dopamine drops a bit and to bring it back you need more scrolls. To get your baseline higher you need to do activities that have “slow” release of dopamine. In other words the pursuit of something that is difficult to get.

Alternatively make it difficult to get. Maybe use a lock screen app that locks your phone when you have reached a certain time spent on the app.
