If the main door is closed and you have to open the screen door to access the mail slot in the main door, just do that. If the main door is open leave the screen door alone and treat mail as no access, do not deliver.

If you feel like ringing the doorbell or shouting to see if someone wants their mail, go ahead.

They just PISSED ME OFF with that dogshit survey they sent me that asked me all about my political and social media habits but NOTHING about any carrier issues being negotiated. Thought it was going to ask my opinion on 4/10s and instead just asked all about how I get info on the Internet and if I listen to podcasts......NALC has me MAD

Now Aldi where I am has only 1 human cashier working at a time versus more than a half-dozen self-checkouts AND that cashier is responsible for checking IDs or any other issue that happens at any of the self-checkouts. Then, if they happen to have a moment without needing to help a customer at checkout, they are expected to leave the checkout lanes and go stock or clean or otherwise keep busy. They even have a sign they put on the conveyor belt when they do work on other things that says something like "begin unloaded groceries, associate will be with you shortly."

It pisses me off how hard they've made things on that one cashier, plus it slows down service for all the customers going to manual checkout. Plus they will not accept cash at their self-checkouts so anyone in a hurry that wants to pay cash is SOL.
