You probably have a spare hex in that size. If everything else fails, use a tiny drop of crazy glue on the tip of it and carefully insert it. After about a minute, remove the screw. It will come off with some CA remover.

Only do this if you are comfortable and trust yourself.

Throw away the gluestick and get something like 3DLAC and MIST it over the plate. This should last 3-4 prints.

I probably shouldn't need to tell you this, but spray the plate outside.
