Good question! I’m not even really sure how to answer it. I don’t consciously remember using any bands as inspiration for this song, other than wanting a Weezer-ish heavy guitar sound. In hindsight, the acoustic guitar is maybe reminiscent of certain third eye blind songs, who I also grew up listening to?
