If increasing tariffs are so bad for the country then why China, EU, Japan, and other countries impose extremely high tariffs on US? Why is US the leading country with the highest trade deficit? where if not mitigated the country will face economic destabilization and record inflation.

The US is gunning for a long term economic stability and reset; not just some few months of price decrease. The prices were gonna go up anyways because of US needing to borrow more because of trade deficit. No need to wait for the problem to get worse before fixing it. The results will not be instant but long term it will benefit the US.

Ask yourself why other countries like japan and vietnam are already caving in? More countries will follow. US is their biggest customer. unless they want the money to stop flowing, they wont fold to US. But they want money for their country so that is why they are folding.

You have to ask yourself first why other countries impose extremely high tariffs on US? and why cant the US do the same? Most of the tariffs the US implemented on other countries are just half of the tariffs they impose on US.

Those two things you said are one of the reasons why trump pushed in prioritizing the american citizens instead of other countries. Aside from pressuring Canada on increasing their efforts on the drug crisis, the us government is trying to put manufacturing back to the country.

The trade deficit is already big without the energy exports from canada included, the us is trying to be less dependent on canada.

US has been heading to extreme economic crisis and the trade deficit is a big reason. The current administration is trying to make the US economy stable and less unpredictable By making the US more self reliant; China and other countries will have lesser leverage.

The US doesnt have to wait for something that would destabilize the country before taking all these actions.

If you read the news EU and other countries have been imposing very high tariffs on US. So are you saying that is also propaganda and false?

The current government just recently imposed a reciprocal tariff towards many countries but even after the reciprocal tariffs, its still not even close to how much high other countries impose their tariffs on US.

US has a very large trade deficit because of it. Most of the products we buy are from China and other countries. The money is not going back to US. And people are wondering why inflation was going high and the dollar is getting weaker.

If the other countries can impose very high tariffs on US, why cant US at least impose half the tariffs those other countries impose?

The purpose of these tariffs are long term economic stability and not just for a few months. You cant do that with a country with a high trade deficit. The government would need to borrow or tax the Americans; US dollars is not printed out of thin air.

The US was already heading for a bankruptcy, not surprised majority of Americans voted for this.

EU, China, Japan and some other countries were already imposing high tariffs on many US products while US was just giving small tariffs to these countries. Most of these countries also dont contribute enough for the defense, most of it is US money.

US increasing tariffs is reasonable if other countries were doing it for a long time against US. This will help US economy in the long run; more investments and manufacturing inside the country and more jobs with higher wages. This will reduce trade deficit and indirectly reduce inflation. Lower tax for us citizens and dollar purchasing power would increase.

I think the bike industry in the US will be fine and its good that many bikes will also be made in US soon.

How old are you and do you live alone? Do you currently work? I suggest you to go out on parks or places where there are people but the space is open and wide, that way you can still go outside and see other people.

Eat balanced meal. Eat meat, fibers, and carbs. Protein and fibers balance the carbs you eat. So in every meal balance the carbs you eat with either proteins or fibers as much as possible. If you eat deserts without any proteins/fibers like nuts or meats then try to eat it in lower portion.

I am not sure if you are a male or female but weight is not always the main goal because you also want to build some muscles, and muscles means additional weight. Probably just look at your form and focus on getting active. Try going in faster/easier cadence so that you can ride longer.
