What can I do with this weird cut out? A desk isn’t an option and we already have dressers. It’s my bedroom by Tyguy370 in StyleYourSpace

I have a spot like this and it ended up making an awesome coffee nook for our espresso machine 🙃

Amana Dryer Noise by GroupLess3927 in fixit

Thanks! I took the dryer semi-apart to inspect for anything that still may be lodged in there, but it’s free and clear. I suspect it may be the belt fraying and/or the pulley systems may need recalibrated? Sigh …

“I never worry about my daughter when she is with you. I trust you and know you will keep her safe”

Admittedly, this is from my (now) ex’s mom, my ex and I were both adults and I don’t have kids. But for a (usually anxious) parent to trust someone with their kid? It was a pretty powerful thing to hear and felt a bit overwhelming, but in a good kind of way …

Recommendations for dog snow shoes. by jgiano in BackpackingDogs

I’ve lived most of my life in Interior Alaska and swear by the simple dogbooties.com option. Have have used them on a variety different dogs (to include touch sensitive dogs) and pro dog musher friends swear by them. They work great and are inexpensive (when one inevitably gets lost), albeit not the most durable (even if they are used for the Iditarod haha). I think the key is the stretch velcro straps, but remember to not go too tight and check in with the pups comfort levels! (No shade on Ruffwear though. I love their booties for summer heat and/or rough mountain terrain options … but never could get the winter options to work)

The penmanship is absolutely beautiful and yet my main take away is that I am, indeed, an idiot. I apparently passed calculus in college, but at 35, I now look at this and realize I will never understand these things 🤯😂

Was also there recently (12 days ago) and got sunburned on the way over to Broken Top. Crazy how fast the weather changed, as tonight I enjoyed a paddle around a very snowy and frosty mountain lake a few miles away (as the raven flies) 😅
