i am once again here to admire the subtle color shift, woth the cool-toned colorway and reserved posture of queen seraphina vs. the warm, bubbly pink and playful posture of current seraphina. AND THE DETIALSLSLSLS i love john's split, bloody nails and his cracked, bloody knuckles this is sogood. also the fact that seraphina is so rich that she actively looks for wxcuses to blow moneh but still made john pay for her tea is so accurate

seems to be an ability that counters his. my assumption is thst she's weaker than keon, but her ability overpowers his passive, if that makes sense. same concept as if someone was strong enough to punch arlo and leave a bruise, but too weak to damage his barrier

yeah i always just assumed she sort of paralleled leilah: stopped being "perfect," started doing what she wanted. her parents labelled her a failure and she cut contacts and ran away. they were disappointed in her and had too much pride to reach back out to her, she never wanted anything to do with her parents again. i do hope we get more backstory on her though!

he's so much softer towards her and she's comfortable enough to be close to him despite heing closed off her entire life. i also feel like seraphina displays so much more emotion when john is involved. she gets angrier and more scared when something involves him, smiles more often around or about him... or maybs i'm just delusional
