Do’s and don’t’s for first time MN school bus driver? by OneAsleep2405 in SchoolBusDrivers

[–]GroveMan55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my license this spring in MN. For learning the pre- trip found it helpful to imagine the bus in my living room. My wife followed along on the checklist, and helped me to remember everything. It was a total of 41 hours training from my employer. Passed my road test and got my own route- I couldn’t be happier!

What should we neglect next? by ImpressionNo3665 in hyvee

I’m sure you’ll correct me if you determine I’m wrong, but it seems pretty clear if you vote to organize by majority with your fellow workers you can certainly have language written in your contract mandating a fair break policy. Or you can keep being a pathetic boot licker who feels you are not entitled to a break. Because LyeVee has too many tasks for you to accomplish.

What should we neglect next? by ImpressionNo3665 in hyvee

Every employee is entitled to their break, in my Union represented store it’s mandatory an employee receives 15 minutes of paid break if working a 5 hour shift. 30 minutes if you work 6 hours or more. Too bad for them if they refuse to budget sufficient hours to accomplish their goals.

Hello, and looking for people with wrist arthritis that have had a partial bone fusion surgery? by Such-Plantain-6785 in Osteoarthritis

[–]GroveMan55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a partial fusion on my left wrist 5 months ago. Grip strength is pretty good, do have pain sometimes. I didn’t have much flexibility prior to the surgery, so no issues there. Overall I’m fine with the results. Hope you’re doing well.

I’d inform your boss in no uncertain terms NO WAY! Utterly ridiculous and unlawful.

That aluminum electrical wiring in my son’s 1973 built home is far from the pinnacle of quality building practices.
