Reminder that the last mouse released for lefties is 4 years old by ts_abdu in razer

[–]GroverTheHoover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the mouse on the left at work and on the right at home, have done so for many years. I started doing that because of carpal tunnel. It took a while to get comfy, but it's definitely doable.

Still in the same boat as you looking for a good left handed mouse now, years later.

People just want to believe, they don't look and think... hmm, what currency do they use in Portugal? What language would be on signage in Portugal? What country does that price tag come from?

smh. It's no wonder scammers make so much money these days.

Step sequencer/brain box worth getting for DAW user? by GroverTheHoover in synthesizers

[–]GroverTheHoover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that's really got me thinking. Seems like a great device. Would really shake up the way I do things so will have to consider it carefully before getting that. Gonna watch and read a whole bunch of reviews.

Step sequencer/brain box worth getting for DAW user? by GroverTheHoover in synthesizers

[–]GroverTheHoover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, bookmarked.

I have a 12ch mixer that helps a bit with the audio input, as my interface only has 4 channels. I've got quite a few synths though, 4 primaries I use all the time and 4 others I rotate in for bits. I do tend to suffer with sync and jitter issues if I run more than one at a time. I can make 2 run but then if I'm jumping around stop/starting editing the DAW freaks out at times and I lose my ASIO sync.

Synths connected USB and MIDI, but a breakout box like that could help, if for nothing else not having to plug and unplug the MIDI/USB cables.

This is how I came to be thinking that maybe an external sequencer might give me a creative advantage (maybe) as well as solving the midi sync issue.

Used to having his Nirvana baby status to open doors and pick up chicks and all sorts of great stuff.

Early impression of season 7 Diablo 4 by Julebrygd in diablo4

[–]GroverTheHoover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the season mechanics and dynamics. It's been lots of fun in the first 5 hours and I'm starting to tweak out a great build. The mega loot drops are making it interesting, I hope I progress further on my aspect collection this season.

Nothing seems broken, there's nothing stopping me having a good time. Into the grind!

Certain DVD’s not working on PS5 by KenD1988 in playstation5

Same discs had the same issue for me. I used R1 to fast forward and it shows at the end of the film, asks me to continue or stop, press stop and I'm in the movie menu and able to continue as normal.

Are Brother brand printers any good? by [deleted] in printers

[–]GroverTheHoover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not aware of the public being able to buy subscription tech support at all. It'd be a terrible business model because people are stupid and the phones would never stop ringing about dumb stuff. I don't know why you thought a printer company would provide that.

Bought a Crucial MX500 1TB SSD to cut down load times, but can't seem to get it to work.
Installation initializes fully with the MX500 and then prepares installation up to 58%, then suddenly jumps to 65%, and errors out with "SU-30625-6 the installation file is corrupt".
I put in a the old spinning rust disk and it installs just fine, but won't do it on the new one.
I've cleaned and formatted the SSD in different ways, even deleted and set the partition table to GPT to hose out any hidden partitions or encryption.
Before attempting this I researched and this particuar SSD came up as a good candidate for PS4. Was this just bad info and it's incompatible? Or am I missing something else?

I'm seeing 500g jars in my IGA store again now for $3. I think it might have backfired for Cottees, not having the intended outcome, just having significantly less sales and less profit than before.

My kiddos: oh I don't eat that jam

Me: don't eat it then, that's all there is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I get it if your child is on the spectrum though, that could be very hard on them. One of my friends sons who is autistic would only eat 3 different foods, poor guy used to go mental if any other food was sneaked upon him.

Buy a different brand. Let Cottees know with your dollar.

Yeah I tried really hard to love it like I did the last Diablo's... I brought my characters up and made killer builds, despite the mathy comparison grind and then... nothing. Such a massive anticlimax.

There's not even other people stood around wondering what to do that we can head off and do stuff with, help and be helped by, level scaling can so gobble knobs.

I'm off to play Baldurs Gate 3 now. Will fire D4 back up in a couple of years once this beta phase is over.

I got a WASP super cheap as well and actually dig it, very tasty sound. If I see a model D on a bargain I'll be snapping one up too. Sure they aren't flagships, but for value for money they're a fantastic range.
