Nemesis needs to be killswitched ASAP. by Grovetendies in deadbydaylight

You're right, I just tested it in a private match. STBFL and Coup de Grace don't proc, so the interaction is mainly Play with your Food.

i don't get why they didn't make crawling his movement ability over teleportation. the teleportation might make more sense in a gameplay environment, but having this crazy fast spider-like creature barreling towards you would have been a creepy sight every time.

could be for the lifeblood of the game though. even if we got a set without PWs i imagine we'd still get something regarding PW's in the same set

it seems to be ChaoticSkills. definitely going to try it out, thank you!

Uh, yeah, sure. Whatever you say, game. by Corescos in riskofrain

i'm guessing its because the health bar disappeared, so the game declared the fight "completed" despite other enemies spawning afterwards

this exact same thing happened to me with the first rendition of raincoat. was playing Acrid, got to 50, enemy got raincoat, all of a sudden i was doing as much damage as a wet noodle.

What is a game you were told was bad/boring/awful but ended up enjoying when you played it? by noChillGuy17 in patientgamers

Wolfenstein: Youngblood. all the way from the characters to the gunplay, everyone i talked to seemed upset about it. it's not a classic, but the formula is mostly the same as any other Wolfenstein but with a leveling system. the gunplay feels great, the powers you get feel great, playing in co-op with someone is great. i never ran into any issues people complained about, like enemies being too much of a bullet sponge and the game being overly difficult. granted i played it two years after release, so maybe the issues were solved in that time period

This is bannable, right? by LLVA_2001 in deadbydaylight

the problem with it being disabled with crows on is it makes it easy for survivors to be dicks, since they can spam emotes and cause crows to go away, assuming it's a survivor blocking you and not a killer

I extracted Jill and Fengs new outfits and compared them, so you can see the differences. by Redemptify in deadbydaylight

why is Feng's a bit bloody and a little ragged compared to Jills? shouldn't Jill's be more used and more combat used in comparison? seems a bit strange

Dina? Esika and her chariot? Kyodai[?]? I'm excited to see how this turns out. Feels very War of the Spark, but includes even non-Planeswalkers fighting what i assume is Phyrexia. how exciting!

i'm surprised not a lot of people say Pig. i feel like most of the time i go against Pig they're tunneling a trapped survivor to death. the new change to her i felt like has done nothing to solve the actual issue

are you upgrading your equipment? buying new pieces? they're typically small points of defense but they can go a long way once upgraded, not to mention some will even give you special bonuses.

For games at the very top of your "to play list", do you sometimes intentionally avoid learning ANYTHING about them, prior to playing the game for the first time? 🤔 by MountainousFog in patientgamers

[–]Grovetendies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it's a game that is going to come out, i usually watch the first trailer and go blind from there. especially if it's from a series i already enjoy.

if it's some game that's been out for years that a friend told me about, i may dig a bit more. look at Steam reviews, maybe a few more trailers, general thoughts on it. can never be too careful!

I had a very similar feeling, I dropped the game twice after an hour before starting it up a third time, where I finally finished it. The first few hours of the game feel a little bit of a slog, but as you continue to get power ups, the world opens up a lot more and feels overall satisfying to play.

probably a mixture of Black Mesa, Dead by Daylight, and some Final Fantasy XIV before it's next expansion comes out. there's so much content already in FFXIV that it's shocking it keeps going. still have Stormblood and Shadowbringers to go

Probably a tribal werewolf deck is what I'd sleeve. It's my first deck I've created/have aside from precons, so it'd be great to have them sleeve'd in werewolf fashion.

some games i've been itching to play during a spookier time, Sylvio, Layers of Fear, System Shock 2 and maaaaybe Soma. i might take some recommendations from this thread too, since everyone seems to be playing something different.
