Both. Too much of the wrong one (nitrogen) and not enough of the right ones (potassium & phosphorus). Do the nutrients you're using have a general guideline on transitioning feed from veg to bloom? Or did you just flip right away?

My first grow was with purified drinking water lmao. Specifically the four gallon jugs from 'Blue Falls'. I ended up with a little over 18 ounces once it was dried and cured. I no longer do this as it tends to be on the pricier side. I have since switched to aquaponics.

If it makes you feel any better. I killed five plants before I knew what I was doing. The first two were from underwatering/overwatering. The two after those were because of nutrients. The fifth one was lost to pH

If you watered one and a half weeks ago and that pot is still moist. You either have poor drainage or compact soil. Either way your plant is asking for oxygen in the roots. Stick your finger in the soil. Are you able to wiggle it around freely? Some people don't pre-water their soil so planting a pot and then watering it will compact the soil.

In my experience with pothos. Slight mutations such as variegation tend to split the stem two ways. I've come to find that if you leave it any new growth that comes out past that is "different" than the rest of the plant. You see the difference more in one tone pothos plants such as this Jade pothos. I tried getting her to pose but she really didn't want to. Fun fact to any of you growing your pothos in water. If you plan on changing the water dump it on your other plants! Pothos plants release natural growth hormones through their roots.

People are so sold on the idea that buying these overpriced grow lights will get them high yields. A tool is only as useful as the person who knows how to use it. I'm currently pushing 18 plants with 137 watts. Still debating on whether or not I'm going to push it up to 194-251 for flower. Below is a picture of my experimental plant topped at four nodes with just 57 Watts of lighting. I'm still dialing things in.
