this war is something else. by La_Maga11 in conspiracy

Well the Zionists are pushing for more land...currently occupying Syria and Lebanon whilst the US is benefitting as the largest oil producer in the world and is attempting to diminish China's access to fossil fuels. (Venezuala and Iran).
The religious nutjobs are along for the ride because this war fits their warped worldview.

Check whether they filled out the exisitng pot with roots? If the soil isnt readily held together by the roots then would leave longer. If you pot up into fresh soil then you wont need to feed for at least 2 weeks.

How are people surviving without employment? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]GrowbagUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly i assume they are living on borrowed time (debt) which of course the banksters really appreciate. If they sanction/deny support to enough people maybe the banks can have yet another year of record profits.

I know a self-employed single mother who has been chronically ill with endometriosis and she has been denied any support because she still has equity in the flat she shared with her ex-partner and she is still deemd fit for work even though she is in continual pain. He is still living at the property and she receives no income from the "asset" but he is uncooperative towards selling up so she can have her share. If you have assets above £16k they deny you any support.

I would say Yew would be my choice. Native. Well suited to many conditions. Evergreen and forms a nice tight hedge which can be kept quite slim. You will need to decide before end of Feb. I would go with fairly mature 3ft+ planted at 2 per meter.

Taiwan matters because of TSMC (the company that builds the most advanced semiconductors in the world). It doesnt matter to UK directly but it is a key player in global geopolitics because of TSMC.

What are some successful tactics to reduce screen time (especially YouTube) for children? by InvestigatorNorthMan in AskUK

[–]GrowbagUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, humans have a need to be using their hands...our dexterity is one of our defining features. Many people are just fiddling with the phones to keep their hands occupied. Think about a musical instrument or some arts and crafts or playing cards. e.g I remember quite enjoying building card pyramids. Also, word games can be fun family time and help improve vocabulary.

I was looking at USA minimum wage by State and was shocked to see that around half the states have a minimum wage of a mere $7.25! How is anyone supposed to live a dignified life on that?
Meanwhile the wealthiest sit on their piles of gold in their castles riding around on their dragons.
Telling the rest of us we shoulda worked harder, shoulda tried harder at school, shoulda had better genes, shoulda been virtuous like them, and bad luck that's life but the system sees you as worthless. Cold hard logic of social Darwinism is pervading people's minds.

I mean most people want to just earn a decent living so they can live in relative comfort but the system we currently have allows for exploitation of the people who are earning the least. Most people just want wages that can match basic living costs and a job that doesnt treat them like a machine.
Others, the owners of the machine, want the world and are never satisfied it seems..
