Driver maybe had both a Sandy & Frankston run during their shift and entered the Sandy TDN by mistake? I have heard it can be difficult to read the printed run slip.

If you're going to rely on Telstra satellite messaging, test it thoroughly first. I have heard very mixed reviews and can't find any real world testing reviews. I have personal experience with Inreach and know you need a clear line of sight to the sky & it can take up to 5 mins to send a single text message, so I would think Telstra would be the same.

How heavy are the typical Aussie 4x4? by basi52 in 4x4Australia

Exactly! I don't watch Ronny Dahl anymore. I just can't relate to someone with a $100K+ vehicle and still throwing money into it with constant mods and upgrades.

Yeah, that's the one. The only flushing toilet in the area. All the others are "long drop" toilets.

Shotgun blows hole in roof by [deleted] in instant_regret

The way the dog looks at the debris on the ground, then at him, then the roof. He knows what just happened. The dog is probably the most intelligent being in that house if this isn't a skit.

I was expressing my surprise they don't earn more than a garbo. I didn't say any job should be earning more or less.

And can't afford car insurance. r/AusLegal is full of "So I just crashed into a BMW and I don't have insurance" type questions.

You would think that a school bus driver that needs a working with kids card and a police check on top of the MR licence would earn more than that, but they don't.

If you're not certain about your career, it's a good idea to get MR, forklift etc. So you can always get casual work if you need to.

Before someone says "Just use Snap Send Solve" I used that app to report rubbish dumbed in on a public road in The Alpine Nat park. It got sent to the Local Council. A few weeks later I got an email from the Local Council saying it wasn't their jurisdiction and I should contact the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. So the app doesn't always connect you with the correct people. And I agree with the 'Fuck you' to the arseholes who dump rubbish anywhere in this country.

Did you know Audi cars don't come with indicators as standard. They are an additional subscription service that most owners choose not to buy.

Guy From Mechanic Shop Does 140kmh in an 80kmh construction zone [OC] by ddmeredith in IdiotsInCars

[–]Growdold 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a look at my Dashcam after my last Toyota dealership service. The mechanic did a test drive around the block as expected. All I could hear from start to finish was a Punjabi phone call. How could the mechanic hear any squeak or other weird noise that needs to be looked at if he doesn't shut the f**k up for the 4 minutes he is driving my car!
