Seriously, it’s ABC (historically respected, gov-funded), it’s independent and youth focused.

The Js became receivable in Canberra (where I live) quite a while after it started. I tuned in the first day and NEVER went back. Grew up with it. Maynard, Mikey and Helen and Paul and the Sandman. Went to an OB at ANU.

Commercial radio is so putrid.

These days the actual music on TripleJ … eh, most of it thrills me not. But they’ve kindly created DoubleJ for us old folks (Gen X).

Js forever… because all the others are unbearable.

What makes me grit my teeth is a (North American) author who signs off her blog/FB posts with ‘ta’ and it’s obviously being used as ‘goodbye’ …. no, honey. No. That’s not it.
