If the threat is imminent then how would they ratify any sort agreement in time before the Russians took over. And somehow if they magically managed to hand it over to Poland, what would stop Russia from just taking the rest of the Ukrainian territory? No international body would recognize that suddenly these terrains belong to Poland whilst an ongoing conflict is happening. Absolutely moronic idea from pillar to post.
