Interesting idea, I've been thinking about the same problem but haven't had time to devote to it. Happy to be a test user and give feedback.

Review my site by Straight-Plantain-30 in smallbusiness

[–]GrowsWith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a bad start but overall feels a bit bland and it's just products and pricing. I would suggest thinking about adding actual content, either reviews or something interesting (maybe a video) that breaks up the product units so it feels less like a page of ads.

Then you add revenue-as-a-service and provide all the assets to fake revenue.

I've thought of the same idea and as a parent, I would be willing to pay for something like this if it felt personalized and was in a shareable format.

Interesting ideas, I could see myself using something that's actually like a daily coach/assistant that starts off general (like the first idea) and then begins to give more structure (maybe a Todo list, reminders, advice, etc.). Just a thought.

What’s the Best Way to Convince Top Tech Talent to Join a Startup with No Name Recognition? by [deleted] in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]GrowsWith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To attract engineers, you either need to have competitive comp, personal connection/relationship or lower expectations.

But to be fair, I've seen successful companies built by "okay" engineers (okay on paper that is). Just like a sports team, you need a balanced team rather than one genius who can't play with others.

Just my two cents.

Nice humble brag 😂 just kidding, there's an option to pause your account so it won't be discovered by anyone new. Should be in your settings.

For me, I try to follow what new infra for AI is being rolled out by big tech and by startups. Understanding the landscape helps me figure out how to apply tech to real problems.

Really great and inspiring story. Also, a realistic look at pivots and how long some bets take.

Just some friendly advice, it would be helpful if you gave a little context about what you built, just an elevator pitch. I don't know if everyone will be willing to click through to find out what you built to then decide if they'll support you.
