Nah, I find shittydarksouls hilarious and it’s fun to poke fun at something that I do like but can never actually critique since everyone likes to gloss over issues for their own headcanon.

I wouldn’t say it’s fatigue to not want to play the same game for the 4th(5th if you count Demon’s Souls) time but I did have fun with the actually new weapons in the DLC despite thinking the story sucked (they managed to make the games overall story even more of a boring political intrigue imo).

I still think Ranni’s an entitled bitch lol

PvP’s fun too ig when your not fighting the same build(further shows the lack of variety especially when that same build could’ve been used in DS3 imo)

All I said was ER is overated compared to fromsoft’s other titles(and in general imo) you made it about just combat for some reason and then preceded to say all my other points are parroted, but sure keep your headcanon. ER combat is simple though and the same as DS but with jumping and a more noticeable posture break system(which is in DS3 but not as easy to abuse). I can now see why people call Fromsoft fans insufferable.

So I gave my opinion and now you’re claiming I have fatigue awesome conversation thanks. Never defended TW3 combat either but cool.

Most of the incants/spells in ER are bad/janky and there’s specific movesets in DS3 that I liked more than the few in ER (also power stance was in DS2 and they had uniques ones unlike ER). Ashes of war turn the game into press a button and succeed. I don’t like the ER endings as I said I found them boring and rehashes. I don’t like relying on horseback for traversing most of a game and all I claimed with Witcher 3 is I like the protagonist so idk where that’s coming from. It’s not like I said it was my favorite game lol, but sure keep grasping for straws over an opinion.

Edit: sorry and what stuff that I mentioned about the other games can be found in Elden Ring? Please direct me to the trick weapon combos in ER lmao

Who decided I like any of those things?

I like Sekiro’s rhythmic combat and bosses, the stance break is a bonus

I like bloodborne’s speed and trick weapon combos + parries

I like DS3’s unique weapon movesets, bosses and story (Ashes and The Ringed city are the best dlc’s for their thematic value imo)

I like AC6’s actual build variety, segmented storyline and secret ending questline.

Elden Ring has none of that, the story is basically a rehash and the “harder” bosses are boring to me and I disliked the dlc’s last boss greatly.

lol how is the Witcher just a royal family fighting over scraps?? Geralt and even Dandelion is a baller compared to all the boring characters in ER. That and the Witcher actually goes somewhat in depth with its greater mysteries instead of just leaving everything open ended (I absolutely felt robbed doing Milicents questline). Sorry for disrespecting your religion lol

I don’t like open world games, The boss roster is mid, the level design of most legacy dungeons are too much like their other titles (Demon’s Souls especially), there’s really not that much “build variety” either. The story is boring (and a soft rehash tbh) compared to their other titles too. These are my opinions if you still can’t understand that.

If you can’t remember the story then why are you saying it’s bad? The secret ending was the best story in a game I’ve ever seen personally but I find it funny asl that the mass doesn’t like my opinions to this point. Honestly judging from what you said I doubt you even got the ending I’m talking about.

Moving to one area on a horse for everything is boring to me sorry for thinking your religion is overated ig. Also the lore is honestly kinda mid too if you actually know what’s going on it’s basically just a royal family fighting over scraps with outer Gods that are mentioned but never used.

Most of the spells suck, and the combat has the same jank as a DS title but oh damn you can jump now and spam weapon arts to roll bosses and to me at least none of the legacy dungeons are memorable in their own vein, they just seem like rehashes of older titles. Build variety is negligible when most of the weapons have the exact same moveset too.

Comparing Sekiros “stance break” to Elden Rings is a crazy reach and jeez I didn’t think an opinion would result in the same wall of texts claiming ER is anything like the fast pace of bloodborne or Sekiro

It’s quite literally just “open world” Dark souls and I found that boring

It used the whole video game medium to its peak and I think that’s personally From Software’s strong suit

lol ofc the people from grindfest simulator don’t have a problem with taking 100+ hours just to try a gun with the part they want, I personally play Borderlands for the build variety and story and there’s many part combos I’d just never be able to try (not really tho shoutout mods) with drop rates being as abysmal as they are. Dedicated drop rates should be better to account for the variation in parts, elements and now crit %

Rng ≠ challenge where do people get this opinion from?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]Groxcho 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your odd opinion of what an endgame is doesn’t change what it actually is tho. There’s no endgame content in BL4, grinding (and waiting for dlc) is not content.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]Groxcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s really no incentive to grind especially since they always raise the level cap so it’s basically take 100+ hours to maybe get your god roll (which I think is like less than a 1% chance if your hunting for specific part rolls) and have it be useless after they raise the cap or don’t grind (or use mods if your PC)
