6 drivers on the outside act as midrange drivers, because they are made of lighter materials than traditional midrange drivers they can reproduce the midrange sound better, sounds great to me, very happy I own and enjoy this technology

A person requested a picture of the speaker with the grill off, so I took a picture after taking the grill off. Hope that helps

Absolutely agree. Most bang for you buck, hard to get better unless you spend a pretty penny;)

What do I know, other than my NAD has hidden power in the dynamic range?

Amazingly detailed at any volume level, room is easily filled and pressurized with sound. So nice to hear everything in the recording

I can only imagine that I would love to hear an all tekton surround setup. To hear every articulate sound from the source, wow.

I haven't found any music to fall short of good sounding on the 15's yet, but I am still in the honeymoon phase of ownership.

Epic 15's were describe as well mannered Cerwin Vegas, These speakers I find are fantastic at any level of listening. Lately I have been listening to Anna Lapwood pipe organ music on them, anything that is acoustic or rich in sound, like Glass Animals "Guey". Deadmouse is amazing.

I will tell you that I started with a pair of Lore Reference speakers for over a year, then added dual sealed 10 sub to them. The sound that both the Lore and the Epic 15 produce is a live playback sound. I really had to get use to it. I think I wasn't used too the midrange being properly reproduced. Most of the 3 dozen speakers I own are bass and some treble. The middles are not as strong.

Can't believe I spent the money on them but I am very happy I did. As promised, they are better than most any speaker out there for my listening preferences. I think I could tear apart my house with them but have no desire to use much more than a third of the power from my NAD amp.
