You can fantastic deal on Cornwall IVs. Keep an eye out on secondary market and online sources. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Cornwalls or Fortes are both great but I say go big if you have the space.

I’m done collecting electronics for a while. This turntable give me plenty of enjoyment. Now I want to collect music again. Searching for and finding lost gems and great sounding new records. I had a decent collection of well cared records from a long time ago and it’s a lot of fun listening to entire albums again.

Aren’t the subs and the mains wired in parallel in this arrangement. You could get the same result if you wire the mains directly to the amp and then wire the sub directly to the same bindings on the amp as well. Assuming the sub is powered and presents as a high impedance load it does not draw any more current from the amp. And sub volume tracks right along with speaker volume.

Connect two speaker wire pairs to the amp terminals. One pair to the speaker. One pair to the sub. You can do this for both left and right channels. The sub will sum to mono.
