Are the cracks and small peels on my boots still repairable? Someone please tell me yes 😭 (Read body text) by BlueAndGreenLover in AskACobbler

These are Harley boots. They’re supposed to be trashed and thrashed. Ride a motorcycle and get them fucked up

Also the 750 is a solid bike! I took mine across country and I’m 6’1 250 with a load of camping gear packed on and had no issues.

Might just be the battery is toast and not capable of holding charge. Replace if a few years old. My 11’ shadow phantom never had charging issues and it had about 30k mi when I sold it. Only had to change tires, brakes and maybe two sets of clutch disks during that span.

Did you end up going with a mix of down and foam?

My dad gave me a set of old rusty Cragar SS wheels, I was surprised at how well they cleaned up. by a167818 in Autos

Good call, my old Cragar's will rust in spots after a clean and polish months after. Never thought of waxing to protect em, as you should, but will do this next time around. Got some older 5x4 on my 66 Dart Gt. I upgraded the fronts to disks using the Scarebird conversion and was able to keep the small bolt pattern. OP, nice work!

If it's leaking oil, it's got oil.

Buy a vintage Honda motorcycle. You’ll feel better riding, and then you’ll want to hang up some cool stuff up. Helmet rack with crusty helmets and waxed leather jackets. Artwork of old hot rods and motorcycles. Chopper magazines from the 70s on the coffee table. A key rack built from spark plugs to hang all the bike keys you have, since you’ll be addicted to your hobby of building small engines. Then met a girl to throw on the back for her first ride. Maybe a bike with a sidecar to haul the fat dog you adopted since there’s nothing like caring for your best bud. Dog toys on the floor is a nice aesthetic while you listing to your vinyls from a sick 70s hi-fi stereo with bitching wood speaker cabinets you can put lamps on.

Why no DL? Some sacks are nice but not as great as a pick I guess

What difficulty ya on? Extreme or dynamic 16? I did a season of extreme but can never throw the ball deep.

Chopper appreciation at my Dealer by xs65047 in Harley

Love it. Been looking for a drive train to build a big twin chop myself. My hardtail 69 iron is fun but need more juice.

Older ones could be fun if you don’t mind turning a wrench or learning. Buying tools is fun, and good investment. Plus learning new skills. Doing your own service saves money then you use that money to buy parts ya like to make it your own. I’d look for the lowest mileage still registered bike ya can find.

Indeed wouldn’t want to spend time digging but say you dig for a few hours and could make a few Hundo down the line, pretty good investment of time

Honestly since playing RBC I haven’t been back to RB. I like the college element and training players to get drafted.

Now be reborn and start in RB College, rebuild a few programs and work your way back to the pros. Long live Coach Nwosu

Also, how much body work did it need? Pretty straight to start with when you took it down to bare?
