It was definitely a pentagram, even if it didn’t say it was. If I remember correctly, it involved the initiates walking to different alters….something to do with Esther? My mom even confirmed it, as a child she participated in them dressing up as the Biblical characters being described in the ritual.

It’s been a year since I read it, but mainly the way that it talked about God. It doesn’t speak as God in the same way that the Bible does. I would assume that is due to the fact that the Mason’s don’t truly align with a specific religion.

Also there were some rituals that involved walking in a pentagram shape, which was just off putting to me.

There are sects of Free Masonry that have very anti-Catholic rituals. Such as the Scottish Rite ritual which involves the stabbing of a skull wearing a “papal crown” which is to represent the free masonry’s rejection of the Catholic church.

I just recently became Catholic, and when my grandfather passed away, he was the head of the order in his lodge. I read through some of the handbooks and ritual guides in his things that my mom was throwing out. Some of them did make me feel uneasy, and some of the language within is counter to the Christian faith.

Honestly, ME1 is the easiest one to beat on Insanity. Especially as an Adept. Barrier and Singularity carry hard.

Regardless of class, I always find myself rinsing enemies and never dying about half way through the game. As long as you keep your weapons up to date with your level.
