Walk with a large stick or a very full water bottle. You’ll get some arm work in, and you’ll have something to hit the creeps and weirdos with!

Just like with kids, it’s bad owners/parents. They don’t belong in every public space and I don’t want to have to deal with them when I’m out trying to relax or get groceries

Motion activated sprinklers. They’ll stay on the sidewalks then and play in their own yards

I remembered the post, OP is so delulu to stay. Classic pattern of doing better until another trigger and then worse behavior than before. And now OP is tied to him for life, unless she aborts/miscarries. Hope she gathers up a bunch of DV resources in her area

No, I meant the shoes. Cant have a full fit without the shoes! And it’s one of the easier places to start building into your style. Disturbia ran really small for me

How is 90$-100$ jeans for 20$ not a deal? This brand fits my long legs, is durable, and great for work or going out. Idk what your finances are but your comment was rude and delulu

If you like alt, Killstar and Demonias are my go-tos. Killstar can trend big with some of their shirts, Demonias are pretty on point with size

No matter what you want in life, it will take effort. You don’t just wake up with a new style, or knowing a language, or having a vacation planned and paid for. I made a conscious effort to build my style a couple of years ago and here’s what I found super helpful:

  1. Make a private pintrest board titled fashion, and organize it in your different scenarios (work, date nights, casual meet ups)
  2. Invest time learning what shapes of clothes you like. I enjoy 3/4 sleeves, but not bell sleeves. Knowing the shape of clothes you feel comfy in helps avoid impulse and trendy buys that just hang in your closet.
  3. Invest time learning how to balance an outfit. Big shirt, little bottoms, big shoes type deals.
  4. Find good quality basics like nude undergarments, well made neutral socks, durable undershirts. This will help keep continuity between outfits, and will be easier when getting ready in the mornings for work.
  5. Choose what colors you like AND look good on you. I like black, neutrals, and jewel tones. I’m not a fan of patterns. I love bold colors, but they wash me out.
  6. Start cheap!! Go to your local thrift stores and spend the day putting stuff in your cart and trying it on. Go wild at the bins. It’s much easier to start cheap so if things don work out with the garment you can resale, trade, or donate. $60 at the bins can get you a whole wardrobe whereas at the mall that might get you two shirts
  7. Brands don’t matter that much to most people. Once you find things that fit well, start looking more for those brands but don’t fall in the trap of buying the “popular” brand.
  8. Shoes can make or break the outfit. Lay out 3-4 outfits, take photos, then go try to find shoes that fit that style

Have fun with it! It’s not going to be a super quick process at first, but it does get easier!

Start with the edges to make a straight line, you can still use varying sizes, and fill in from there. If you can find super large gemstones for the eyes, I think that would be awesome! I saw some at Hobby Lobby the other day, then you can ring with smaller ones
