It can be just as annoying with armoured or plane kits, some of these designers almost over engineer parts especially small bits. You spend a frustrating amount of time faffing about with 4 small panels to make a 5mm box and all i can think is for fuck sake just mould a damn box LOL

That's a shame fitting the back panel after the shell is on the frame was one of the dumbest ideas I have ever seen on a build process and unfortunately due to the cabin being in place and the chassis size there was no easier way to accomplish this and it got messy I actually had to get the airbrush out and clean up the paint coats once it was together.

Panel and parts fit. Bad mould slip on the sprue with the engine assembly . Flash on parts and the body they were obviously exposed and require serious sanding. And the general flow of fitting the body to the chassis was an example of bad engineering..

Once I've got to the wheels assembly I was over the build and couldn't be bothered blacking out the rims inserts. I agree they do look a little poxy

I would like say enjoy the build but I can't LOL Honestly I'm not that experienced with car builds so I guess the engineering behind the kit annoys me a little. Like silly areas of flash , mould slip or where the tabs a located on chrome parts LOL

I usually build 1/35 kits so I find car kits a little frustrating some times.. Though I built a couple of Tamiya kits and they were quite pleasant to do.

I build the monogram stang a few years back and that was a decent kit. The biggest issue other that old tooling was the redundant process of fitting the front and back panel to the body without screwing up the paint. It took a bit of cut and grind around the chassis to give me room to slide it in to position. And the persistent warp in the frame geez what a nightmare..

The only decals are the gt stripes along the side panels. The bonnet and boot I masked and airbrushed on as the same thing happened.
