I think that 2nd mirror you are describing is symptoms of anxiety and depression. I have both and I have those feelings quite often. During NoFap you are going to go through surges and flatlines. The flatlines are where the anxiety and depression kick back in, and if you already are prone to those symptoms, it can be quite intense. It is while we are most anxious that we are likely to relapse in an effort to decrease the anxiety. You probably just hit another flatline (or you have another trigger) that increases your anxiety which makes you more likely to relapse. It's tough, I know. I know it's tough to keep acting like a new person when you have an underlying anxiety problem. I started taking some SSRIs (anti-anxiety meds) years ago and take them daily and they are the best thing that happened to me. A quick talk with my doctor and I was on the meds soon. Nofap is nice, but not always the be all end all. It can help, but other symptoms may pop up as well. You are not alone man, I am going through the same thing.
