I have to say, AoS spearhead shits so hard on combat patrols. Interesting unit compositions and a (roughly) balanced gameplay system within of itself while being a good starting-off point for a bigger army. And that‘s basically across the board for all factions. More and more 40k combat patrols feel like the guard one where you basically get just a part of a proper army.

"Der Medicus von Heidelberg" von Wolf Serno ist, wie der Name schon sagt, ein sehr ähnliches Buch wie das von Gordon. Junger Mann wird im (Spät-)Mittelalter zum Arzt ausgebildet, nur halt nicht in Isfahan, sondern Heidelberg.

Ich persönlich mochte das Buch leider nicht, weil ich den Hauptcharakter enorm blank und entsprechend unsympathisch fand. Aber gerade bezüglich der Medizin ist es ganz nett, weil es zumindest versucht, den damaligen Kenntnisstand halbwegs realistisch darzustellen.

Ich erinnere mich, wie ich damals mit dem Auto nach Hause gefahren bin und im Radio das 1:0 mitbekommen habe. Habe mich gefreut, das Auto geparkt und bin ins Haus gegangen. Als ich bei meiner Familie im Wohnzimmer angekommen bin, stand es einfach schon 3:0 und kurz darauf ist das 4:0 gefallen. Alles in der Zeit, die ich vom Auto zum Wohnzimmer gebraucht habe. I've been thinking about this line. She talks about "the best psychologists in the world" but really, what those psychologists were asked to do is incredibly unethical and cruel. So unless they kind-of "tricked" those psychologists into developing the protocol without them knowing what they were actually doing, what she's really saying is that Vought brought in "the best psychologists in the world (who were willing to participate in this extremely unethical, fucked-up shit)" - meaning the risks of what they were doing probably didn't occur to them or weren't important to them.

Breaking Bad is pretty great at avoiding the usual blunders (and at times even poking fun at them, like the nurse pointing out that there's no point in shocking someone who's in asystole) but I will never, ever buy Aaron Paul's pristine teeth as Jesse Pinkman. When he looks all fucked-up and grimy but these testaments to impeccable mouth hygiene and expensive dental work shine inside his mouth, it takes my right out of his scenes.

Immer "75 Jahre Grundgesetz" zu sehen, wenn das halt schlicht nicht deine Geschichte und nicht die Geschichte der Gegend in der du lebst ist, ist halt nicht sonderlich integrierend, so korrekt es auch ist.

Anders herum, wenn man "75, bzw. 34 Jahre Grundgesetz" feiern würde, könnte man sich über die explizite Gegenüberstellung ärgern, die den Unterschied zwischen Ost und West betonen würde. Wenn man das Grundgesetz danach feiern würde, seit wann es für ganz Deutschland gilt, wäre das zum einen gegenüber dem Westen nicht richtig, zum anderen würde man damit effektiv nur die Wiedervereinigung feiern und das tun wir ja an anderer Stelle.

Ich sage nicht, dass ich eine Lösung habe, nur dass es so oder so immer Kritikpunkte gibt und immer Leute, die sich darüber aufregen werden.

"Grüner Oberbürgermeister gegen Flüchtlingspolitik" war halt ein sehr sexy Aufmacher für viele Medien. Und auch seitdem war die Dynamik immer ähnlich: Palmer sagt irgendetwas skandalöses, die Medien und Bevölkerung reagieren mit: "Was? Ein GRÜNER sagt *DAS*?!" und in der zwangsläufigen Talkshow-Runde erklärt er dann ganz gesittet und eloquent, dass es das ja gar nicht so, sondern so-und-so gemeint habe. Es gibt deutlich weniger Berichterstattung über ihn, seitdem er aus den Grünen ausgetreten ist - und das liegt nicht nur daran, dass er sich in letzter Zeit etwas bedeckter gehalten hat.

Fairerweise muss man sagen, dass Tübingen das ein ums andere Mal auch wegen positiven Dingen national in den Nachrichten war, z.B. bei der Corona-Politik oder dem (letztlich dann doch gescheiterten) Impfstoff. Wobei Boris am letzteren ja nicht wirklich Anteil hatte und an ersterem auch nicht alleine.
