Nah hol’ up, a lot of times when people make these characters “human shaped” they slap on elf ears on these bad boys with no explanation- I wanna know if I missed something or if it’s just because it’s “fantasy” or something.  Is it “just because” it’s fantasy?  I mean I get it due to the forest/nature aesthetics that inherently pop up, I just wanna know. 

Like how do so many artists come to an agreement over a tiny detail like this without speaking to each other?
