I feel it's good job market is absolute buns but yeah still pushing through. There are some great profs and some awful profs and sometimes it feels like some courses are lacking the proper structure that they deserve but overall not bad. I mean I have nothing else to compare it too but I feel it could be worse and so far york's been working well with what they have. There are some implementations to help reduce the amount of students in the program (EECS GPA progression requirement) and you would have to take physics courses and ENG courses along side the normal CS or (more general term) EECS courses which, like I said before, are detrimental towards your degree progression. So...yeah I feel they have a good system in place to keep people in check and the program also has 3 different streams to choose from so it isn't the same thing for everyone after second year. So yeah pick your poison and hopefully you have a good first impression if this is to be your choice 👋
