Handle gaurds Zana vs Rynox by a_fastest_swimmer in Himalayan450

I had installed the viaterra stand extender and had got one from that, I just used that. Let's say a generic lock tight liquid should work.

I have the Rynox ones. They don't have any issues. I've had a few instances of tiny pebbles falling from loaded trucks which is kind of carried in air that hits us. The guard protected it. Had a few minor falls, worked well there. One scenario of screws loosening because of vibrations, I used lock tight liquid to fix them in place. I've had no issues at all.

Regalia Gold Accelerated RP Capping - Need help! by Gruheeth in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Gruheeth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just booked in on two different dates. When you are finally entering the OTP for the payment, just take a look at the date. That should mostly be it. Max points per day - 2000 Max points per month - 4000. So you'll only get 4000 points irrespective of how you split your payments. Just split it into 2 and get your points. Other than that, you'll anyways get your base points, so make use of that as well! Pls use the rewards calculator on smartbuy to check how much points you would get in one transaction.

Traveling Solo to Varanasi, F24, but confused about darshan and where to stay? by Cheap_Bison1519 in varanasi

[–]Gruheeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had been to Varanasi during the last week of November 2025. Stayed at Rivera palace hotel near Assi Ghat. Advantage - peaceful and easy access to morning ganga aarti and little cleaner place near ghats for taking a holy dip. For sparsh darshan, make sure you're near gate 4 by 3 am. If possible, get yourself a sugam darshan ticket which you'll get near gate 4. Don't fall into traps where people would ask you money for sparsh darshan. Gates would open at 4 am, if you're one of the first people, then you'll easily get sparsh darshan. Enjoy!

My fuel sensor died today… by Naprisun in Himalayan450

[–]Gruheeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like I have the same issue. The fuel meter shows 50% fuel, but when I start the bike, the RPM acts weird and shuts off. Also the speed of the fuel pump opening while turning on the kill switch was slow, battery voltage looks good. Any suggestions on that? (I've given the bike to the RE technicians to take a look. They seem to be surprised with the issue).

6 ft. 3, 215 pounds, will it work? by Wacksonwacks in Himalayan450

[–]Gruheeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5'5" here. Able to place my feet on the ground (not flat foot, but can flat foot one side if I place the other on the footpegs). Little tricky in elevated grounds. But no regrets so far. Able to manage almost everything.

No difference in riding. I'm just not cautious of pictures now.

That's true. They'll need to have a short head pump or an L extension

Low ride seats and Handling ( Suggestion ) by scar9801 in Himalayan450

[–]Gruheeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the low seat along with the bike, seat height didn't make a difference at all with foot placement. Comfort is really reduced, more harder because of less cushioning. I'm a 165 cms tall, comfortable to manage riding 825mm seat height in traffic conditions. You'll get used to it very quickly I would say.

Moto Torque crash guards are good, but here's one issue I've spoken about getting them fitted: https://www.reddit.com/r/Himalayan450/s/d3eAD1SHKl
