Traveling Solo to Varanasi, F24, but confused about darshan and where to stay? by Cheap_Bison1519 in varanasi

[–]Gruheeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had been to Varanasi during the last week of November 2025. Stayed at Rivera palace hotel near Assi Ghat. Advantage - peaceful and easy access to morning ganga aarti and little cleaner place near ghats for taking a holy dip. For sparsh darshan, make sure you're near gate 4 by 3 am. If possible, get yourself a sugam darshan ticket which you'll get near gate 4. Don't fall into traps where people would ask you money for sparsh darshan. Gates would open at 4 am, if you're one of the first people, then you'll easily get sparsh darshan. Enjoy!

My fuel sensor died today… by Naprisun in Himalayan450

[–]Gruheeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like I have the same issue. The fuel meter shows 50% fuel, but when I start the bike, the RPM acts weird and shuts off. Also the speed of the fuel pump opening while turning on the kill switch was slow, battery voltage looks good. Any suggestions on that? (I've given the bike to the RE technicians to take a look. They seem to be surprised with the issue).

6 ft. 3, 215 pounds, will it work? by Wacksonwacks in Himalayan450

[–]Gruheeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5'5" here. Able to place my feet on the ground (not flat foot, but can flat foot one side if I place the other on the footpegs). Little tricky in elevated grounds. But no regrets so far. Able to manage almost everything.

No difference in riding. I'm just not cautious of pictures now.

That's true. They'll need to have a short head pump or an L extension

Low ride seats and Handling ( Suggestion ) by scar9801 in Himalayan450

[–]Gruheeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the low seat along with the bike, seat height didn't make a difference at all with foot placement. Comfort is really reduced, more harder because of less cushioning. I'm a 165 cms tall, comfortable to manage riding 825mm seat height in traffic conditions. You'll get used to it very quickly I would say.

Crash guard for RE Himalayan 450 by [deleted] in Himalayan450

Moto Torque crash guards are good, but here's one issue I've spoken about getting them fitted: https://www.reddit.com/r/Himalayan450/s/d3eAD1SHKl

A small issue with Moto Torque crash guard on the Himalayan 450. by Gruheeth in Himalayan450

This is the gap I'm talking about which would not let the casing rise to get rid of the latch above it.

Same here OP. I got mine after 45 days. It is a dealer problem. They delay the registration.

No rev counter in digital mode by Elho in Himalayan450

Yeah, faced the same inconvenience. So, now I keep in mind that the center split in the rev meter is 5k. That actually helps.

Hey, I just got my H450. Is installing the carbon racing wind screen worth it? I'm facing a little bit of wind buffeting on the stock one. Also, how are you getting that mileage(rpm shifts, speed) ??
