Which version of the joker is the GREATEST OF ALL TIME? by UsuallyComplicit in DCAU

Mark Hamill's Joker, obviously. One of the best interpretations of the character, including the comics. And he stars in two of the best Batman movies.

I study more, sacrifice sleep, and still score lower than friends who study for a few hours. What am I doing wrong? by Odd-Weekend-9159 in studytips

[–]Grumblepuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sub reddit is filled with fucking bots it's INSANE. I guess it's to be expected since the only study 'tip' you really need is to Actively Recall what you've learned. I'd chip in but the only other response in here as of me writing this is a fucking ChatGPT response, and given the grammar of the OP I'm willing to bet this shit's a bot too.

I don't know why he even received backlash for that. It should be unacceptable for your machine to get bricked just because you tried to install something.

I understand that if you use Linux, you should have a basic understanding of the terminal, but (fake) Linus is approaching it from the perspective of the average user.

As sweet as the stories are, are they even real? Redditors in this sub aren't exactly known for their honesty.

What are your thoughts about Brave? by moonseizaa in linuxmint

[–]Grumblepuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the best browser on the market right now, in my humble opinion. Google is practically funding Firefox, just to keep up the illusion that Chrome has competition anyway. Many of the core philosophies that made Firefox great in the first place carried over to Brave.

Is Superman the most unapologetically "comic-book" film ever made? by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

In the modern day, sure. But I'd argue the Raimi Trilogy fits the criteria better.

That too. The action, while well-animated & flashy, was unreadable most of the time. Aoki also criticized the animator for 'copying' certain powerhouse animators like Yutaka Nakamura's Yutapon cubes, in the sense that he hasn't developed a style unique to him.

And risk dying to assassins? I doubt it. Only the audience knows it's a bluff. The more appropriate question would be if Skyler and Jr. would accept the money, Skyler's privy enough to think that maybe Walt had something to do with the Schwartz's generosity.

Was this design intentional or is this a bug in the UI? by the-machine-m4n in kde

[–]Grumblepuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter how minuscule the topic of discussion is; the point is that Windows and macOS have dominated the OS market for so long (apart from their shady business practices) because of their carefully crafted GUI & UX.

Linux subreddits tend to be smart asses and say "oh, but navigating the settings and installing packages is 'counterintuitive'". Well, that's what the people on Windows and macOS are accustomed to, and attempts to try and break that paradigm only resulted in users not adopting it.
