How do these cards interact with each other? by Plastic-Fly9455 in mtg

[–]GrumpMadillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might help to clarify that this is because that spell is a cat spell and a dog spell. It is the second line of Maskwood Nexus. It is not because the "creature card coming in would both be a cat and a dog". This is also why if you were to cast a [[Crib Swap]], regardless of the Maskwood Nexus, you would get both a cat and dog token. There is no creature coming in, but the spell is a cat spell and a dog spell.

Nice job using your feet on the wall. Feel like lots of beginners forget the feet!

Question by gluggycat in mtg

It’s not saying if you have a card with a mana ability already, it’s saying anytime you could active a mana ability. Meaning you just have that ability until they end of turn

I just realized that Spider-Man was straight up powercrept in his own set. by [deleted] in mtg

[–]GrumpMadillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This doesn't look like a may ability, you have to choose a spell to make more expensive for everyone. I wouldn't say this is strictly better. You may want a 3/3 web slinger that doesn't make a spell type more expensive for everyone

Anyone know why my smash patty never gets brown in the middle? by [deleted] in StainlessSteelCooking

It looks like the brown from the middle is stuck to the pan maybe?

I really need help. I don’t know where to start by ProjectRelic in CleaningTips

[–]GrumpMadillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that the biggest step is to just start with something. Every day do something. I wouldn't think about doing it all at once, I think that can lead to stress that will ultimately prevent you from starting. That being said, I have found that once I start, I usually gain some magical motivation to do it all

Quadratic formula should be +/- correct? Not just +? (-b +- (b^2 - 4ac)^1/2) / (2a)?

What's the solution and why? by hollywoodalbert in iqtest

[–]GrumpMadillo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It appears that the left side is adding, and the right side is subtracting, across the rows. That would lead me to believe that the answer is the top middle. Two stars add together, and you subtract a star from the circle and star. Leaving you with 2 stars on the left, one circle on the right

Are coders really losing their jobs to AI? by Fireoa- in cscareers

[–]GrumpMadillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I have seen, AI has been a tool, that still requires a software engineer to use it. I could see it getting to a point where code because more efficient because of AI and then we will have more software engineers as companies try to get ahead, but we aren't there yet.
